This place was very clean with friendly staff. Unfortunately, there is no place to eat here and buses only run from the train station (downtown) to this hotel until 3pm and its a 30 minute walk. No place to eat here and when we wanted to go for something to eat just before 8pm, taxi's wouldnt come up to get us. There is however an amazing chinese restaurant about 10 minutes up the road.

The hotel environment is very quiet, but the transportation is indeed inconvenient. To go to the station, you can only ask the front desk to help you get a taxi. It was completely dark outside at night, and the smart toilet suddenly rang several times in the middle of the night. Although I knew it was probably a machine failure, I was still scared and didn't sleep well. There is a laundry room on the first floor. I wanted to use it, but the dryer was so dirty that I gave up decisively.

This was my first time in Nikko :-) It was clean, the staff were very friendly and I was very satisfied with my stay.
I like Fairfield hotels so I've been to a number of them, but Nikko was also very good :-)

Pros: super pretty and relaxing hotel. Nice environment. Big spacious and clean room. Free coffee, tea and miso soup near lobby.
Cons: location is 30mins walk from train station (a nice walk in SPRING). But you can hire a taxi to fetch you (ard 1k). Food: no resturant onsite. Not sure where’s the nearest place to eat. There’s some instant food/ drinks for purchase beside the counter. Can pack some food and heat up with the microwave onsite.
Will I stay here again? Yes! For the price and the comfortable and clean level.

What a remarkable experience! The inability to find words speaks volumes. Everything was flawless, meeting high Western standards. Additionally, we inadvertently left a sweater in the room as we continued to Tokyo. Upon contacting the hotel, the staff were immensely helpful in resolving the issue. They efficiently arranged for the sweater to be delivered to Tokyo, saving us considerable effort and allowing us to continue our journey peacefully. The service was exceptional, especially considering that the responsibility was entirely ours. Absolutely outstanding service..

The hotel is very nice and cozy, we like every corner in the hotel and staff are very friendly even suggested the good restaurant where was vary good. the room is well design and lovely. We had a good time stay in the hotel.

Room is huge compared to most Japanese hotel rooms. Modern styling, particularly loved the layout of the room.
Tv was a great size and quality but disappointedly didn’t have any smart tv apps you can log into. It does have movie and other satellite channels.
Bed was huge and super comfortable, 2 pillows on each side and a good weight duvet.
We stayed for 2 nights and loved our stay.
