Great place. I would even say - a bit of a western style. Especially a bar in the lobby. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The owner is a young and very nice guy. Will help you to arrange a car with a driver to make a circle around the lake.

Many days later, when I was walking on the way home, I would definitely think of that distant afternoon when Sister Bing called me by the roadside. Fate is unreasonable. I had thought that when I traveled to Lugu Lake, I would stay in Qingshan Youth Hostel for 13 days, to the point where I couldn't bear to leave. Lugu Lake in the off-season may be a little deserted, but away from the hustle and bustle of the city and the commercialization of the ancient city, I enjoy the quiet atmosphere here, I enjoy the comfort of sitting by the lake with a book in the sun for a day, I enjoy the calm lake surface like a mirror, and I also enjoy the windy days when the waves appear in four or five colors. Qingshan, this is the first youth hostel that makes me feel the warmth of home and I don't want to leave for a long time. Sister Bing, my fellow Nanjing native, has a beating young heart, a soft voice and a melodious singing voice, the perseverance to work all year round, and a good cooking skill. The dumplings she makes are exquisite, the shrimp wontons she makes have the sweetness of fruit corn, the rice noodles she makes are better than those sold outside, and the aroma of scallion pancakes fills the entire hall... Not only does she have good cooking skills, Sister Bing is also a food connoisseur. In the past half month, she took me to taste the best things in Lugu Lake: the delicious and rich stone pot mushroom fish soup, the full-flavored firewood chicken, the bowl-like Zhuangyuan rice noodles, the sauerkraut red bean soup is the signature Mosuo private dish, the salty and delicious cured pork ribs pot and the "Mosuo sandwich" made from the horse caravan barbecue, the fresh mermaid soup without scallions and ginger... Along the way, Sister Bing and every store are like a family. She is like a real Mosuo mother, connecting the entire Daluoshui Village together, making me feel the simplicity that is rare in today's society. From her, I saw the unity and affection of the Mosuo family. A Hangzhou native from Nanjing inherited the best qualities of the Mosuo people in Lugu Lake. Back to Qingshan Youth Hostel itself, this two-story wooden cabin is surrounded by lush green plants. Beautiful songs and laughter are often heard at night. As for clean hygiene, hot bath water, and comfortable beds, they are the least worth boasting about. I stayed in Lugu Lake for a full 13 days and 12 nights, where ordinary people leave in a hurry after two days and one night. I not only like the mountains and water, clouds and wind here, but more importantly, I like the people and emotions here.

I didn't take pictures of the breakfast, it was really great. I didn't wait for the sunrise, but I had a hearty breakfast and I was satisfied. Although it was cloudy, there was a rainbow. The Huawei phone misled me, can you tell it's a double rainbow?

The attitude was very good. The sister who received me spoke softly and helped me with my luggage. When I left, she gave me a local apple to eat on the way. It was big and sweet. The room was clean. There was a small garden in front of the door. You can have a drink on the first floor. You can see the owner's care.

The host is a middle-aged lady who speaks softly and is very considerate. She will contact you in advance to let you know the check-in time to avoid being away from the hotel. She will also give you some general tips on how to avoid pitfalls in Lugu Lake. She is a bit of a clean freak, so both the public area and the room are kept very clean.

Let me start by saying that because the house is made of wood, the sound insulation is really not good. You can hear everything going on upstairs clearly. You can even hear the people in the house next door snoring. Sister Bing is very enthusiastic and she is not afraid of being alone.

The room was very clean, the clerk was very welcoming, you could go directly to Lugu Lake from the backyard, she also treated us to several meals, there was a big fat cat in the store which was very cute.

When we go out to play, we always stay in youth hostels. This one has the best atmosphere. We sing, play board games and chat together. The living environment is very quiet and clean. The chartered car driver recommended by the boss is also very friendly and cost-effective.

First of all, there is no door lock or door card. Men and women are next to each other. You can only lock the door after everyone returns to the room. You need to put on your own bed sheets and quilt covers. There are no bath towels. Secondly, there is no air conditioning, only electric blankets, but it is not warm at all. I shivered all night. The shower water is not hot. It took several minutes. I stood there naked waiting for the water to heat up. In the end, I don’t know if it was the water that was hot or I got used to it. I was freezing. The whole equipment is very simple. If you put clothes next to it, water will splash. The sound insulation effect is not good. If someone walks upstairs or on this floor, it will squeak.

Super satisfying travel and accommodation experience! There were just a few people when I checked in, but it was not deserted. Because the boss was very enthusiastic, the volunteer partners of the youth hostel were also very friendly. The boss recommended me all kinds of fun and food in Lugu Lake, and also patiently answered my questions. My friend also took me to the lake to show me the way. I had a great time chatting with the boss in the evening. I said I didn’t talk much, but I actually talked a lot😂 A wall of wine bottles looks very romantic at night! The boss is also a person who loves life very much. He takes care of all the flowers and plants outside the yard by himself. It’s almost become a photo spot in Lugu Lake. Hahaha The room is very bright, with large windows, good lighting and ventilation. The bed is very clean and you need to put on the quilt cover yourself. The bed is harder than the average youth hostel, but it is the hardness I like very much! The only drawback is that the shower room is a little shabby, but the toiletries and water output drain pipes are quite powerful, and the beauty of the bathroom does not affect the use.
