We stayed in Capo Taormina hotel for a couple of weeks. It is conveniently located with a nice view from each and every room. Outstanding service, particularly Grazia, who waited for us at the bar, both on the beach and the evening terrace one. She was always in good mood, very helpful, attentive, friendly and just nice. The whole stay was a pure pleasure and Grazia made it unforgettable. We shall surely come back.

Great hotel located in a strategic location at the beginning of the longshore and near the city centre and the museum (where you can see the famous Bronze of Riace). Breakfast is absolutely to be improved for quality and quantity of products and for too tight hours (up to 9.30 from Monday to Saturday and Sunday to 10). ****new of the reception was a great suggestion for things to do in the city and surroundings.

The location was great! It takes you only 15-20 minutes to arrive at the craters of Etna (Crateri Silvestri). The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. They gave us great tips for our trips. The wellness area was wonderful too and we spent a lot of time there. The rooms are good and facilities too. We definitively recommend you to stay there!

We’ve been to Taormina on two previous occasions, stopping at the nearby Ariston Hotel both times. No complaints about the Ariston. However, due to matters financial, we switched to the TPH, which was a bit of a gamble. This could have gone all wrong……but it didn’t. We loved it! If you’ve read some of the other reviews, you’ll get the picture quite well, the TPH could use a good decorater, however, it’s cosmetic, and caused us no problems at all. The hotel is smaller and quieter than the Ariston , and has an olde worlde charm, with its marble staircase, inlaid doors, chandeliers and furniture from a bye gone era. The pool area, although busy at times, was quiet and well run by the staff, a great place to enjoy the Sicilian sun, and cool off! The breakfasts were taken by the pool, nice touch, and there was plenty of variety on offer and we really enjoyed that. The view from there, and our second floor balcony, was unbeatable. The wifi in our room worked fine, all the time. However, the massive selling point that really made our time there so marvellous, was none of the above; it was the staff! From the quietly confident and helpful desk staff, to the welcoming and engaging catering/breakfast/pool bar staff, the maintenance man, to the room cleaners, they were awesome! If you need a place in Taormina that is central, clean, with great views, great food and fantastic staff, I have no hesitation in recommending theTaormina Park Hotel. Just don’t book it during the first two weeks of July, ‘cause we’re going back next year! Bravo TPH, you were amazing 🤩

We had a last minute change with my husband and my father (52, and 83) to Taormina and so it was a challenge with very little prep time where to stay in a vertical place with my elderly father who is in good shape but challenged by long walks, inclines and extreme heat. We did it all-- close to the bus station (4 minutes), Corso Umberto (8 minutes), the Antico Teatrico and the view cannot be beat. There's souvenir shops and a mini mart within 4 minutes walk and the cable car is also only 5 minutes away. My husband and I enjoyed the pool and the views. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast the next morning before leaving. No one could be more helpful or nicer in this hotel. CONS: It's a steep driveway to climb up and down for the elderly. Watching my dad in either direction was a little dicey and with his blood thinners I did not want him to take a spill. PROS: Everything else.

I’ve got to say we were delightfully surprised by this hotel. We booked this place as it was nearby to where we booked our wedding. Travelling with my now husband and our nearly 2 year old. From the minute of walking through the doors we saw how truly nice and special this place was. We just booked a standard room, we were located on the ground floor and the room was a lot bigger than we expected. It was nice and peaceful even being so close to reception in room 112. It was clean, comfortable, well air conditioned. Was just what we needed. We had breakfast included in our price which was continental but had scrambled eggs, bacon, range of cheeses and meats including ricotta. Cereals, pasties and cakes all of the above was of a great standard. You could eat inside or out. The staff in the dining room are even better, gianluca, Gianfrano the waiters and the manager fabrizio. And a lovely lady with short dark hair was amazing with our son, They really made us feel welcome and special, they couldn’t do enough for us. So professional and friendly. We also spent an evening in the restaurant which the food was fantastic. Again great service here too! The beautiful garden and surroundings of the hotel are so picturesque. Nice big pool area including a kids pool. We also spent some time down by the beach bar which was relaxing and I have to mention how lovely the ladies down at the reception area of the beach/shop. Giulia and Maria, so lovely, friendly and helpful. The lobby bar was brilliant Adriano made us feel right at home, so friendly, welcoming and looked after our son if we needed milk warming up, no matter what time of day. The shuttle service from this hotel is fantastic, you pre book your shuttle up and down from Taormina. It’s free too! We loved Salvatore! He made us smile, he was lovely, helpful and genuine. We miss him already!! I have to say, the staff here are a real main reason we would want to come stay again. We live in Sheffield in England but my new husband is originally from Catania, we normally would stay with family but after this trip I know we will be back. Don’t waste any more money staying anywhere else, this hotel offers everything you want and need. Thank you for having us Hotel Caparena! See you again one day I’m sure! We have stayed in many hotels around the world, but from the moment you enter the Metropole Hotel in Taormina, you realize you are going to undergo a unique experience. It is almost like visiting a large family in their magnificent estate overlooking the ocean on one side, and in the center of “movie set” Taormina on the other. This family warmly caters to your every need, and within their estate you have every possible facility you could desire. The rooms (several types, sea view and city view, but get sea view if you can) are spacious and comfortable. Marcello (the manager) assisted so ably and warmly by Santino, cannot do enough to guide you and help you enjoy their beautiful city. David, Maria and the other bar/restaurant staff are there when you want them, but leave you to enjoy the incredible view from the bar and restaurant in comfort. There is an infinity pool that is wonderfully refreshing, and has both open and shaded loungers to enjoy a restful break. The food in either the bar or restaurant is first class - best Niçoise salad I’ve ever had! When you visit Sicily, if your only splurge on one hotel, make it the Metropole in Taormina - it’s worth it!

One of the most comfortable hotels I stayed in during this trip to Italy. The scenery is good, the environment is good, the hotel looks very new, the lady at the front desk is beautiful and enthusiastic, always smiling and talking. There is also a swimming pool. Parking is a bit far away, but drive around the road, park the car and walk up the steps to the hotel. 17 euros per day. breakfast is also good
