The hotel is in a beautiful location against the dunes. The rooms are dated and have no air conditioning. Room 143 is located next to the kitchen extractor, which is quite irritating as a light sleeper.

Hotel ziet er aan de buitenkant goed uit maar de kamers zijn erg gedateerd. Schimmel in de badkamer, zeer kleine kamer en in het bedlinnen zitten meerdere gaten. Dit voor een 4 sterrenhotel. Sorry Fletcher dit is de derde teleurstelling, jullie hotels zijn ver beneden standaard

Beautiful hotel nestled in the countryside, surrounded by beautiful walks. A few things to refresh but the room was clean, spacious with a small balcony (annex) Very friendly staff Restaurant offering classic but good cuisine Well-stocked and good quality breakfast I recommend for value for money

Ik had hier gekeken naar de beoordeling, die was niet zo positief maar ja..daar bridgeweekend geboekt. Het eten was echter fantastisch..we hebben zelfs gevraagd of de kok wilde komen om hem een applaus te geven. Kamer was schoon en werd elke dag schoongemaakt. Personeel supervriendelijk..ik vond het geweldig. (Zijn naar Leiden en Voorlinden in Wassenaar geweest, ook aanraders!)

This hotel pretends to be 4 stars, but the only thing that warrants giving a star is the size of the room. Everything else is dated, uncomfortable and not clean. There's cobwebs in the corners of the room, the heater in the bathroom is rusting and the shower has very low waterpressure and is mounted in an inconvenient way. Elderly people will have trouble getting into the shower as you'll have to climb into a baththub. The bathrooms were 'refurbished' by covering old bathroom tiles with some sort of vinyl wallpaper. You can still see the shape of the tiles through it. And you can see spots of mold or at least dirt on the edges of it.
