North Uthungulu Hotels with Airport pickup service

Anew Hotel has the best staff, amazing pool, wonderful landscape, and location. They are close to KFC, steers, fishaways- however the hotel itself makes the most delicious food and desserts. Thami , Sbo and Giraad were always helpful and did their best to welcome us and make us comfortable. Our room- 100A ( separate from the main hotel, which was amazing as it had the view of the garden and our own parking and space), did noy have wifi coverage. We had to walk to the hotel itself for network. If you do not have data or an SA Sim card,this can be an issue. We did the following activities which were all in a 20 to 30 min close vicinity of the hotel. 1. Big 5 Safari at Hluhluwe Game Reserve 2. Emdoneni Wildcat cat Sanctuary 3. False Bay 4. Bayete Elephant Interaction This was the best time of our lives as we thoroughly enjoy wildlife and the outdoors. Thank you Anew Hotel. We will be back !!

Good location and pool area ok. Room v tired- holes in curtains in main bedroom, bathroom door wouldn’t shut properly and one of the mosquito screens for the balcony door was missing. Load shedding was at a high level when we were there and no torches or any other lights provided ( although there was a generator which provided additional power at times) v limited info ie no detail about pool towels, no info booklet. Games room was full of boxes and hot tub out of action. Main receptionist was helpful when asked but no proactivity. Told her of the issues in the room before we left and was told she’d make a note, so hopefully they will be sorted. Overall just ok but we wouldn’t go back.

All in all, a wonderful stay: a beautiful guesthouse; delightful, helpful, friendly hosts (and kitty cat); and fantastic service! I cannot recommend African Ambience more highly. Since I’m a woman and was traveling alone without a car offseason, I was a little apprehensive about my weekend in St Lucia. Hennie and Ilze made sure I was safe and secured a spot for me on a hippo-croc boat trip and a night safari even though it was very quiet at this time of year and few tours were running. Hennie was also kind enough to provide a taxi service from Hluhluwe and back again. The guesthouse itself is really charming and set in a luxuriant tropical garden. Visits from my hosts’ affectionate pussycat were a highlight, as were the delicious breakfasts on the terrace. I’ll definitely be back.
