Stayed for a family wedding at a nearby venue. Communication good and early check in arranged so we could get ready for the wedding. Rooms definitely dated and in need of modernisation, but bedding and towels clean. Good tv in our room and plenty of tea/coffee plus access to a shared kitchen. Bed comfortable, shower good but in a confined space. Overall cleanliness not brilliant, nasty smell when we arrived. Overall this place is fine for a single nights stay, but pricy and not good value when compared to the quality of somewhere like a Premier Inn these days.

Visited August 2022 AVOID AT ALL COST this place is not fit to be called a guest house. No communication before arrival had to ring for entry code bad line so had a text sent to me no internet code had to ask for it was going to walk out at this point no other disabled accommodation to be found in Norwich at all so we stayed its dirty out dated 1970s décor and furniture broken door locks windows with the handle falling off so called disabled friendly room what a joke, 2 single beds 1 with the legs or casters removed (no telling last time that was pulled out and cleaned under?) hand rail for the shower is outside the curtain with the curtain a good 12” short of the floor so all the floor becomes wet no shelf to put shampoo or shower jell on. Shower is dirty water temperature is stuck so it's very hot only 1 chair to sit on that was an old kitchen chair. We had no hot water for 4 or 5 days. I re-arranged our plans so we could leave early they agreed to a refund Which they have not paid starting going down the legal route as they are not responding to any communication at all. There are breaches of health and safety which I am passing on to the correct Department's. There is one thing about the stay when you leave you look in the rearview mirror see the Guest house and think never will I stay in this dump again.

Strange set up. No reception, you are given an access code for the room. Room OK, we were out most of the time so only used it mainly for sleeping at night. Sheets and towels were not changed for the 2nd day, not was there any more tea/coffee left in room. Noisy, with doors banging and loud guests. Ample parking. It is OK for 1 or 2 nights, but I would not stay there longer.

Room extremely outdated, very poorly decorated, shower room had a hairdryer from what seemed like the 80’s. No shower doors, just a curtain that does not prevent water getting on the floor making it sopping wet… Sleep was ok and that’s the only positive, spent £52 on this room for 1 night and I wouldn’t pay more than £30 for something like this. No management on site, fire alarm went off at 11:30 at night for no obvious reason taking 15 mins to reset. Check in is via phone call to a management company… This room is at a push worth no more than £30, only stay here if you are desperate.

First impressions are ok - the building is quite attractive however upon entry it goes downhill fast. Parking is limited and we had to park on the street outside which is tight. Walking past old discarded furniture, through the unlit car-park to the entrance is not a good impression. There are no staff and entrance instructions are provided by text message however the front door lock was broken (and has been for a long time judging from other reviews), making entry difficult. It doesn't lock which makes security an issue particularly as some of the apartments appear to be occupied by long-term residents who were congregating on the street outsideeyeing up any cars that were parking up. The entrace lobby carpet obviously hadn't been hoovered in a long time. Our room was dilapidated and on entering, the smell of stale sweat was very strong - the source of this was the pillows on one side of a dilapidated bed. No staff are on site so it wasn't possible to get replacement pillows. Sheets and laundry however were clean. The bathroom wasn't!!!! The shower curtain was covered in mould and didn't prevent water from slopping out onto the floor. The shower hose itself was covered in scale and mould. The rest of the bathroom had been patched up badly over the years and was falling apart as was the rest of the room. Curtain rail was broken and the TV didn't work. There was lots of road noise throughout the night and I was woken in the early hours by residents below standing in the street talking on the phone loudly. There are NO facilities in Easton. The listing mentions a Creole Restaurant attached however there was nothing there and the only place to get food and drink was a car ride away. The room wasn't cleaned during our two night stay. At £66 it appears good value but only when compared with the other accommodation in the area which are charging ridiculous prices. Pre- pandemic I wouldn't have paid more than £30 for this standard of accommodation which quite frankly ranks as probably the worst I have stayed in here in the UK.
