"Modern hotel with a welcoming lobby and big reception area. Situated next to the Norwich City football stadium and some rooms overlook the pitch which is fun for football fans ! There is a big retail park across the road and it’s approx 10 minutes walk to restaurants, pubs overlooking the river and then just a few minutes further onto the main rail station . Rooms equipped with large beds and useful amenities which include hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities , iron and ironing board . Nice big modern room and our bathroom had a bath aswell as a shower . We had dinner in the restaurant but unfortunately the food wasn’t a high standard compared to the rest of the hotel . The staff were helpful though over this aspect ."

"Communal toilets were clean, the hotel was warm but due to not being able to adjust the heating in the room ( house rules ) it was unbearably hot so we had to have the window open - no consideration from the staff at the restaurant next to the hotel as they were loudly throwing things into the bins just below our room at 12am. Therefore my partner had extremely broken sleep, did not feel rested and was exhausted the next day, but good value for what it is and likely better for solo business travelling as the hotel can supply earplugs. Rang the number for the hotel as advised before checking in, called three times but no answer so had to ring the doorbell twice before being let in, staff seemed unhappy to be answering the door and slightly unwelcoming ( this was at only 5pm )"

"On arrival of the hotel we where asked to pay. We had already previously paid but the desk were unsure so let us go up to our room and asked us to come back in the morning. The receptionist was extremely polite and apologised for the mistake that they had made and in return gave us breakfast vouchers. We informed her that we had no working window and it was uncomfortably hot in the room with only the fan and no air con. She gave us a card for the air con but sadly the air con was extremely poor. After 2 uncomfortably hot nights we informed the lady on check out that we didn’t have the best experience in terms of the temperature of our room. They apologised but still was uncomfortable. Apart from that our stay was welcoming and very clean."

However, they do have a slightly older decor that might not appeal to everyone. 4. **Toiletries**: A heads-up for future guests: remember to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, and slippers, as these are not provided. 5. **Location Considerations**: If you're not driving, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It’s a bit isolated, making it less convenient for those relying on public transport."

"Only a one night stay, very modern room . Bathroom clean very poor. Black hair on the floor, cob webs above shower. Towel rail dirty . Toilet brush needs replacing. Very hot room facing to the sun, although fan provided too hot to sleep. Not offered an alternative. No explanation regarding breakfast set up and what to do. Good continental breakfast selection. Person that answered the phone day before said hello . Needs training."

"Friendly staff and great spot for me and my friend as we both have mobility issues. Just across the road from Norwich station. Very good price, lovely breakfast what is there to like. I read some reviews saying the food was bad it wasn't and also the bar was dirty this wasn't my experience. It is not the Ritz but it was clean, accessible and secure staff lovely."

"A lovely hotel, across from river moorings, and in a peaceful setting. The Staff were very helpful, even carrying my case up the quirky staircase.The room was clean, with good decor, and facilities. The en-suite had a bath and shower, which was a bonus. The only downside was limited plug sockets, but it was a minor issue. The hotel itself is welcoming, with some low doorways and corridors, adding to the original features. And despite a mix of old/new decor as they continue to make improvements, it had a very relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was lovely, well-cooked with lots of flavour (great bacon and sausage!) We didn't use the bar, outdoor seating or garden, but the Kids Play area looked fun!"

"Everything from check-in to departure was perfect . The room was spotless with a big comfortable bed . We used the spa and pool which was all extremely clean with very polite staff at reception . This is our 3rd visit here and each time we’ve been very impressed Breakfast was very pleasant as were all staff .Vast selection of food and beverages for all dietary requirements . We enjoyed the full English breakfast that was cooked to perfection followed by some fresh pineapple / watermelon . We’ve stayed here a couple of times when we fly to UK and will continue to enjoy a weekend break here in the future ."

"A potentially lovely little serviced accommodation. Superficially tidy but everything a bit tired and grubby. No hairdryer, stale refillable bottles of toiletries, crusty bits around the taps etc. It is so close to being gorgeous; it just needs a bit of love! The noise from the pub over the road was pretty bad but that’s to be expected during graduation weekend. The concierge at the desk was very pleasant and I feel bad giving this review but it is honest."
