The hotel has a history of hundreds of years. When you go to have breakfast, you will find it has a sense of history. You can go for a stroll in the church opposite, which has hundreds of years of history. The entire city is full of hundreds of years old buildings, so you can go out and walk around when you have time. There is a Chinese restaurant nearby, a ten-minute walk away.

Lovely hotel, reception and bar areas very nice with the reception areas having lovely marble flooring. Our room was lovely some aspects a little dated and the flooring was very sloped. Most definitely didn’t affect our time. Great parking, and in a brilliant location a short walk from shops, bars and restaurants. Would book the hotel again.

If you’re in Norwich and looking for somewhere to stay - go to the Maids Head! Lovely, centrally located hotel right by the Cathedral. The rooms are a nice size with lovely bathrooms and you really get a feeling of history from the public areas and beautiful courtyard in the centre. But the outstanding perk is the breakfast buffet - what a way to start the morning!

The small touches were appreciated: you could make housekeeping requests if you didn’t want the room cleaned one day.
I am a vegan and would have loved to eat in the hotel but there wasn’t much on the menu I could have. Maybe you could consider more plant-based food as it is now so popular?
Looking forward to my next visit to this great hotel in a beautiful city.
