"A lovely hotel, across from river moorings, and in a peaceful setting. The Staff were very helpful, even carrying my case up the quirky staircase.The room was clean, with good decor, and facilities. The en-suite had a bath and shower, which was a bonus. The only downside was limited plug sockets, but it was a minor issue. The hotel itself is welcoming, with some low doorways and corridors, adding to the original features. And despite a mix of old/new decor as they continue to make improvements, it had a very relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was lovely, well-cooked with lots of flavour (great bacon and sausage!) We didn't use the bar, outdoor seating or garden, but the Kids Play area looked fun!"
