Amazing
SStef T.This is the best B&B we have ever stayed! Everything is just perfect! To mention a few: the hospitality of the hosts, cleanliness and decoration of the whole house, excellent breakfast. The environment is relaxing and quiet yet within a few minutes drive we can find some local pubs for a nice dinner. We have an amazing experience and would love to recommend this to everyone! We will definitely go back again.
GGuest UserThe summer room is a small cosy unit attached to the main house with a separate entrance. It's about 30 minutes's walk to the city centre. We preferred not to walk the quiet streets after dinner to get back to the flat. There are a lot of parking options and it's a flat rate of 3 to 4 quids after 5 pm to the next day.
SshiokaaIt is less than 10 minutes drive from Norwich train station. It is not far from the city center. There was a clean shower, bathtub, and amenities such as soap and shower cap. The hair dryer was also of good quality and was saved. The beds, towels and bathrobes were also clean. I checked in late at night, but the staff kindly guided me. Good hotel.
CClaudettteFriendly staff and great spot for me and my friend as we both have mobility issues. Just across the road from Norwich station.
Very good price, lovely breakfast what is there to like.
I read some reviews saying the food was bad it wasn't and also the bar was dirty this wasn't my experience.
It is not the Ritz but it was clean, accessible and secure staff lovely.

Good
GGuest UserClean, comfortable and compact accommodation with all the basics. Very convenient if you want to visit the university, a little less so if you want to visit the city centre, although there are regular bus services. Supermarket and coffee shop close by, pleasant surroundings. Have stayed a few times and would do so again.
HHera HoltA potentially lovely little serviced accommodation. Superficially tidy but everything a bit tired and grubby. No hairdryer, stale refillable bottles of toiletries, crusty bits around the taps etc. It is so close to being gorgeous; it just needs a bit of love! The noise from the pub over the road was pretty bad but that’s to be expected during graduation weekend. The concierge at the desk was very pleasant and I feel bad giving this review but it is honest.
GGuest UserBeautiful hotel not far from city centre. Staff were lovely and welcoming.
The room was large, with twin beds put together, which was unexpected with one duvet over both. I did expect separate twin beds, but it was ok.
The hotel itself is full of history, including a knight. I called him Gerald. I would love to have been there longer than the one night so I could fully explore the hotel.
We did not use the spa, and again, I would have loved to. We are likely to go back to fully experience what the hotel offers.
Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces.
Breakfast is buffet style plenty to choose from. No one shows you around just go and help yourself.
We look forward to going back.
HHighfieldLooks a little run down outside and quite dated inside.
We spent one night in a twin room which was reasonably clean however i would suggest they upgrade the mattress protectors. Nice little complementary tray with water, tea coffee sugar and biscuits.
Staff on reception were very friendly.
We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment.
Overall stay was good.
GGuest UserCommunal toilets were clean, the hotel was warm but due to not being able to adjust the heating in the room ( house rules ) it was unbearably hot so we had to have the window open - no consideration from the staff at the restaurant next to the hotel as they were loudly throwing things into the bins just below our room at 12am. Therefore my partner had extremely broken sleep, did not feel rested and was exhausted the next day, but good value for what it is and likely better for solo business travelling as the hotel can supply earplugs.
Rang the number for the hotel as advised before checking in, called three times but no answer so had to ring the doorbell twice before being let in, staff seemed unhappy to be answering the door and slightly unwelcoming ( this was at only 5pm )
GGuest UserThe hotel is a short walk from the railway and within easy access to the Cathedral and city centre. I stayed there for 2 nights. In the 1st night, the bathroom light was out of order as there was no one in the hotel to take care of it. Nothing was done in the following morning, and the only thing to be done is to change the room in the afternoon.
The hotel looks tired and needs some touching up, yet the rooms are spacious, functional and clean, and the bed is comfortable. There is an issue with dampness in walls though it is not too serious. If you look for a budget place to sleep at night, this is the place for you.
