Room is clean and staff are really nice. Walking distance to downtown and very good restaurant. Staff are very helpful and try to help on everything.

Cozy hotel with great service. Nicely furnished, tidy and comfortable. Quality linens, towels and toiletries. Good water pressure. The property consists of several old houses and a carriage house building. There are no lifts. Many choices for breakfast. Evening menu available in a pleasant dining room. Food was delicious and well prepared. Small bar with several drawn beers and a cider. Lovely and friendly staffers provide excellent service. There is no air conditioning thus the guest room was uncomfortably warm for much of the evening. I would recommend this property and would stay here again, however not in warm seasons.

Booked a night away here with my daughter to go and see a show at the theatre. Thought the hotel was good value for money for a twin room just outside the city centre. We were very pleasantly surprised to get off the train, walk to the hotel to drop luggage off to be told the room was ready before the official check in time so we could freshen up and leave our stuff in the room! Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Hotel room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was cooked to order and was absolutely lovely. Could easily have stayed longer here than one night. It's perfectly located outside of the city centre but only a 10 minute walk. Beautiful breakfast room and garden, would definitely be our first choice next time we're in Norwich!

What can I say room clean, convenient location to the centre of Norwich. Food also good value for money but unfortunately was woken up at 6 o’clock. Due to a water leak coming from room 17, which is above room 10 mentioned to reception at 6:30 and They were aware of the leak from room 17, which they thought was fixed but it wasn’t.
I have given them him five stars because they completely refunded the room. Happy to stay there in the future. 👍

Stayed here with a group of friends for one night. The hotel is in a great location just a short walk from the city centre bars and restaurants with plenty of free parking. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are fairly basic but clean and well maintained and all have a smart tv and the usual tea/coffee making facilities. The en-suite with bath/shower was clean and tidy with complimentary toiletries and fluffy dressing gown and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and the service was friendly and efficient for a group of 8 of us. All in all a very pleasant stay with a warm welcome from very friendly staff and I would recommend this hotel for someone wanting somewhere in walking distance of the city.

Stayed three nights arriving Thursday 4 April 2024. Our go to hotel in Norwich, but this visit began with a huge shock. We realised we hadn't been for nearly a year!! Circumstances meant we hadn't been in Norwich for all that time. Anyway, no cause for concern on our part. Everything tiptop as usual. Room, staff, food, cleanliness. All excellent. Hopefully won't be so long until we're back again.
