A very British country-style hotel renovated from an old house, especially quiet at night. It's still a little far from the city center, but parking is free.

The room was very small to consider as executive room. Hard to move around the bed. The shower is very small and wasnt comfortable to manouver in it.

The food served in the restaurant both for breakfast and evening has been exceptional - top marks .
The hotel itself ,the downstairs communal areas are well decorated and presented complimented with a good a**osphere.
Room conditions are better than others . My only real gripe is that some rooms have a non thermostat shower mixer tap over the bath - this gives way to a hot & cold shower - not an enjoyable experience!

Stayed here as part of a tour. All staff friendly and welcoming and the location was good. The bar was a good place to relax in. Two small ******* that I had was the wardrobe clothes hanger was too high for me and it had tricky fixed coathangers and the breakfast choice for the tour group was not as good as the first night that we booked independently. A good base to see Norwich and the surrounding area. The bus services are excellent and close by.
