Premier Inn Nottingham Castle Marina

Stayed here in a Premier Plus room. Stayed in lots of Premier Inns, but never stayed in a Premier Plus room before but I loved it! You have all the essentials you’ll find in a standard room as well as much nice items such as a nice big comfy arm chair and footstool, a padded bench, Nespresso machine, mini fridge and the whole room just looks a lot nicer. Very happy with my stay!

Loved the location especially with free parking and EV charging! Bed was comfortable, room clean and tidy. Breakfast was great start to the day! Staff friendly and helpful.

It was very busy when we arrived and the check in host Scott was really polite and helpful. I observed him assisting a very stressed and aggressive guest. He was calm, kind, helpful and gently spoken. He solved all her reservation questions. I had forgotten to inform Premier Inn about my needing the sofa bed being made up in our family room. Scott made up the bed so when we came back in from being out, everything was done and we had a comfortable night. My only issue was the window hardly opening so the room was quite stuffy although we were provided with a great fan. This didn’t ruin our stay in any way. Thank you Scott, you went above and beyond

Booked up last minuet as was in Nottingham for a wedding when my baby boy ended up in hospital. And needed somewhere quick and close to queens medical. The staff were great and so helpful made everything so easy. Needed to extend my stay showed and explained the best way to do this and managed to keep my same room. Gave a listening ear to the problems we were having and just gave an around amazing experience. Will Deffinatly be saving this hotels details for when up this way again.

Hotel was dated Lots of wear and tear throughout Funny smells Loud outside at 5am with people talking Curtains kept falling down WiFi wasn’t great Good location for the hospital Reception staff were lovely

Location was great for city, caves and castle. The marina was interesting too and I slept well as it was very quiet, even on the ground floor. I had an accessible room without even asking. It was great because it had a wet room.

Hotel was really welcoming on arrival with treats like jammy dodgers at reception and receptionist Aleena was really helpful and accommodating, she was a right laugh me and my boyfriend was really pleased. The room was lovely and clean and dinner at the restaurant was really nice too, will definitely be coming back !

We located the hotel fairly easily. The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room didn’t seem to be quite as nice as other premier inn rooms we’ve stayed in and seemed a bit drab - for example, there was no runner or cushions on the bed. The room was hot so we had to sleep with the window open. Our room was above reception so the road noise was minimal. We ate from the day menu (just before 5pm) in the adjoining Beefeater. The portions were a little small which I guess is to be expected as it’s a little cheaper than the main menu, but the standard of the food was good. We walked into Nottingham centre and the castle along the canal toll path which can be joined by walking across the road to Sainsburys and down the footpath directly to the left of the entrance, turning right once you get to the canal. The walk is paved all the way, so not muddy, and took 15 mins.

Excellent friendly service from the reception team and nice quiet clean room. Extra touches such as biscuits on reception were welcome. Free and plentiful parking available. The room was exactly as you expect from a premier inn - all round a very enjoyable experience.
