"I sometimes travel into the area for work and l realise this hotel is back up and running again which is fantastic due to the refurbishment they had the new refurbishment is brilliant. The rooms are lovely and I got a good nights sleep also the night staff are brilliant and very helpful."

"Very dark decor generally in all areas, difficult to find room number as door was in an alcove and the number to the side not on door.  I am 5’2” and when I eventually found the towel rail because it was above the toilet it was difficult to negotiate and find the size of towel I needed without pulling them all out.   General lack of information in the room I found the A4 piece of paper as I was leaving TV was difficult to operate with a foreign language on some of the remote buttons and no news channel available.  I slept really well which was the most important thing"

"Everything is perfect in this hotel. We love it so much, a highlight of our short trip to Nottingham. We were welcomed by the loveliest front desk member, Lucia, and she helped us set up everything for the room. She also informed us about the ECO scheme of the hotel which we got £10 coupon of this hotel. The hotel is *extremely quiet!!*, have *water complimentary* , have *apples complimentary*. Just a word regarding the aircon, it will automatically turn to heat mode if the room is too cold. Other than that, everything is awesome."

"Was quick to check-in and all staff were friendly and helpful. The free on-site WiFi was better than expected. The on-site bar, restaurant, shop and breakfast were all very nice additions to my stay. Would highly recommend 👌🏻"

"Upon my arrival, I walked passed the reception entrance point as there was no entrance signage. After confirming my booking, I sat to wait in a corner where a Christmas tree stood. Refreshment was not available, which I found surprising. My room was occupied. A different room was immediately made available. *As you can see, the room was more than acceptable - apart from some debris on the carpet, it was clean. The room had a lovely, tall ceiling. The room contained a kitchenette with plenty of tea/coffee/milk. The bed was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, with crisp, freshly laundered bedding and pillows. *The bathroom area was pristine. Perfect! *Breakfast was full English for an extra fee. It was delicious and plenty of it, served by chef who was more than helpful All in all, it was a wonderful stay that I fully recommend."

"cafe served good buffet breakfast . reception staff are efficient and helpful. housekeeping staff overlooked clearing of bin and refill of coffee and biscuits occasionally. overlooked to replaced hand soap after disposed old ones by staff. Center bar guests did cause noise after 11pm. otherwise overall is a good and pleasant venue."

"Big free carpark which is good. Breakfast staff are especially friendly. First night was given with a room with malfunction air conditioner - hot and humid and cannot sleep well. Second night after negotiation was given a good room. Very hard to believe a Marriot hotel could give a room to customer with malfunction A/C without any notice or apology in summer time!"

"Decent enough hotel. 15 minute walk from train station. Receptionist pleasant and friendly. Stairs carpet very worn but clean enough in room. Was offered an upgraded room for £10 extra with bigger bed but declined as I was only staying one night. Bed was fine and comfortable. Hotel is in middle of shopping district with a wide variety of family restaurants cafes and bars. Area was fine and busy during the day but not ideal for the solo traveller returning late evening with numerous takeaway bike riders speeding up and down amd beggars."
