We hired the Lakeside Pavilion for our company year end event and it was fabulous. Great communication from start to finish, food was really good and friendly professional service from all of the Colwick Hall staff.

Love it, it was a great old country manor house estate, we were lucky enough to get a tour and loved it ,the peace and beauty there ,the staff are great ,and the food was lovly ,we will stay again and even have our rooms picked out .

Lovely peaceful overnight stay. Enjoyed the best night's sleep I've had in a long time on a very comfortable bed in one of the luxury rooms. This hotel is set in beautiful surroundings and we went for a gorgeous sunny walk in the evening along the river and beside the lake, taking in the picturesque St John's ruins en route. Very friendly service and good food with vegan options available. I'm only not giving four stars as we would have liked more choice, as vegans, on both the evening menu and the continental breakfast. Having said that, it would not stop us from staying here again.

We booked an afternoon tea for 22 people to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary. Both the food and service was first class with all of our group thoroughly enjoying the afternoon. We would not hesitate to repeat the experience. Thank all involved at the Hall.

Hotel has lots of history dating back from the Doomsday Book and has associated character, being a listed building. My room had original timber beams and french style furniture. All very comfortable and functional for my needs.

We booked Colwick Hall to be close to Nottingham centre for a friends get together. The centre of the city is only a short taxi ride away. Smooth check in, really friendly staff. We had lunch which was really good and had the best nights sleep in a hotel that we can remember. The lovely character hotel is next to The racecourse and in fantastic settings. Overall, a really nice one night stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

This was a present from my children. As they were with me for the afternoon tea I didn't feel like I should complain however the afternoon tea was really disappointing. I couldn't fault the attentiveness of the staff but the food was very underwhelming. A total of 4 tiny sandwiches each was served. One of the party was vegetarian and I had asked for plain sandwiches as they only eat plain food. The sandwiches were in fact very spicy and they couldn't eat them. The savoury selections were very small and I felt that more savoury options should have been offered. The cake/sweet selection was better however, but unfortunately I wouldn't return and wouldn't recommend as I have had better elsewhere.

Overwhelmed by the grandeur and size of room ! Bathroom was huge and the staff where all kind and accommodating. The checkout was very easy and it was a shame we weren’t staying longer!.
