This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here and I would stay again, quite small rooms but have everything you need. Staff are friendly and helpful

Lovely hotel - couldn’t get a better location sadly let down by the size of the room (bathroom was ok) but bedroom was very tight. By far the worst problem was a lack of working air conditioning. It was a hot night and although an air con unit was in the room we couldn’t get it to work no matter what we tried. Due to the heat, sleep was a scarce commodity during our stay. If we’d have booked for longer than a night I would have not have slept in that room again if there was working no air con.

A lovely Prosecco afternoon tea for two. Exceptionally happy and courteous staff - Carl and Cristina. Beautiful cakes and sandwiches. Never ran out of beverages. One recommendation- maybe you could add an additional savoury item - mini quiche or sausage roll.

We had an excellent overnight stay on Sunday. Lovely hotel with good facilities. Reception and bar staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was upgraded and we had a large comfortable bed with a pleasant view of the Galleries of Justice. Even though it is right in the city centre we managed to get a good peaceful nights sleep. We would definitely stay again.

The good:
Very well located. Friendly & helpful staff. Clean rooms. Quiet surroundings.
The bad:
Very warm without much of a way to cool the room down. Shower was temperamental. Rather dated. Cramped room without many amenities.
The verdict:
3 stars. I probably won’t stay here again, but I wouldn’t be firmly against it.

We’ve just had a fantastic afternoon tea prepared by chef Carl-Cristina. The food and service were excellent - we particularly enjoyed the freshly baked scones. 100% recommend for a special family event or get together. Plenty of delicious cakes and sandwiches.

Afternoon tea was amazing compliments to cristina the chef and Victoria who waited on us , it was a lovely experience , nice surroundings, lovely chilled Prosecco and choice of teas or coffees, cristina came out to talk to us and other customers which I thought was very nice.

My husband and I visited for Afternoon tea which was a gift from a friend, everything was lovely from the friendliness of staff to the lovely food made by chef Cristina she makes the most amazing scones thank you Cristina for serving us a lovely fresh afternoon tea in a wonderful building
