A fantastic find. We normally stay at the Orchard when visiting our son at uni, but this was just around the corner from his house so we took a punt. It was great, and much more convenient for town.

cafe served good buffet breakfast .
reception staff are efficient and helpful.
housekeeping staff overlooked clearing of bin and refill of coffee and biscuits occasionally. overlooked to replaced hand soap after disposed old ones by staff.
Center bar guests did cause noise after 11pm.
otherwise overall is a good and pleasant venue.

Environmental protection, no air conditioning. There are fans. The room was stuffy and hot. The attitude of the service staff is very good.

Fabulous place to stay, not far from the city, we only stayed one night but the hotel, the staff the room, and the breakfast were all excellent. Greeted and welcomed when we arrived, when we went to our room it was roomy and spotlessly clean, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. The shower was lovely and powerful and the towels fluffy. We went to the bar for drinks and the prices were not too bad for a hotel, my Daughter had a dessert (chocolate brownie) which was a good portion and served by a very nice young man who again was pleasant and passed the time of day. The next morning we had the breakfast which was included in our booking at Spokes cafe, lots of choices from pastries, fruit, full English and I have to say I am a sausage snob and the sausages, as well as the rest of the food, was excellent quality.
