Top rated hotels in Nuremberg

Le Méridien Grand Hotel Nuremberg
4.1/557 Reviews
Location is opposite the central train station and next to city centre. Hotel has an old vintage flair, if that's your thing. The small room is pretty small but will work for short trips if you don't have a lot of luggage.
Sheraton Carlton Hotel Nuernberg
4.6/541 Reviews
I stayed here for one night before heading out to the airport to fly back home and I was impressed with the hotel facilities. Is like a US based Sheraton not your EU like one. The lobby was very nice and modern, the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was very clean and nice. The breakfast area and whole selection and options were great. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and deserving kudos for their doing above and beyond. The front desk staff were very hospitable from the check in lady to the checkout guy. Overall a good place to stay and it will be for sure my place to stay next time I’m in Nuremberg. No more Le Meridian 😜.
Novotel Nuernberg Messezentrum

This is the best place when you go to the messe, it is a walking distance. The checking in was so smooth thanks for Mrs. Mia, as well as the check out thanks for Mrs. Wojas. We have enjoyed our stay and the dinner, don’t miss it the kitchen team are wonderful and very welcoming .
Romantik Hotel Gasthaus Rottner
4.2/532 Reviews
We stayed at the Gasthaus Rottner during a hot weekend in August because we wanted to see Nuremberg and, as fans of romantic hotels, were looking for a suitable hotel. The quiet location just outside the center suited us very well and on arrival we were given deluxe room 33 in the guesthouse opposite. The architect had designed it very creatively, as the round building elements and seating went perfectly with each other. Even the glass door to the modern and generously equipped bathroom was semi-circular. Even the minibar was in a round console on wheels on which the 37-inch TV stood. This meant that it could be turned in the right direction. The minibar was spartanly stocked, but included in the room price. The wardrobes were cleverly integrated into the walls and contained enough storage space. The electrical equipment was very good and there was also a desk with a lamp and sockets. We would have liked air conditioning, however, as the temperatures that weekend were around 33°C and the fan that was blocked off provided little relief. The internet access via the password-protected WiFi was decent, as I measured a download speed of 28400 kbit/s and an upload speed of 34200 kbit/s. What we regretted most was that the restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday, as we were unable to enjoy the Michelin-star cuisine at all. We were only able to experience a little Bavarian inn atmosphere in the beer garden, which was fortunately open on Sunday afternoon because of the good weather. The breakfast buffet with an excellent coffee machine was like a 4-star hotel; it was not lavish and almost everything was packed chilled in small portion glasses. This was a clever solution, as it meant that nothing was left on the guests' plates. The very friendly service staff were happy to fulfill any special requests. All in all, I really liked the hotel and I will definitely stay there again on another visit to Nuremberg, but definitely not on Sundays or Mondays when the restaurant is closed.
Novotel Nuernberg Centre Ville
4.6/541 Reviews
Charming hotel with all your needs. It is not far from the city center, just a walking distance. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is also good. Will definitely recommend it to other guests. We arrived a bit early then the check in time, but it was not a problem at all. our rooms were ready and waiting for us. In short-SUPER!
Seminaris Hotel Nürnberg
4.3/554 Reviews
We only booked this hotel as we were away on business and attending Biofach at the exhibition centre nearby. Of course prices went through the roof as an exhibition was on, my company £364 for a basic twin room per night / for 3 nights - over £1000 in total! When I arrived, yes the room was clean but I was suprised at how basic it was for the price, plus the fact it looked nothing like the pictures on trip advisor. I also looked on booking.com to see there was rooms available for that night for less than half of what we paid. I went down to reception and asked if there was any other rooms available as I felt our room was very poor quality for the price, and we overpaid compared to the current price for available rooms. I’ve never seen someone at reception seem to offended at such a standard question. She asked me ‘what my point was’, and insisted there were no rooms available except those that hadn’t been renovated. Answering my question if an available better room was available seemed impossible and she said I should speak to the manager the next day. However there was a very helpful woman who checked me in. Before I even got round to speaking to a manager the next day we decided to go the gym. Of course the gym isn’t signposted anywhere in the hotel, why would a key facility be? I asked the woman at the desk (who was on her mobile phone) where it was and she pointed ahead of her and said the door on the left after the glass door. There were 3 doors, of course none said gym on and they all looked the same. I picked one and ended up in the stock room. I went back and asked her to confirm again but she just pointed again as it must have been too much effort to walk round from the desk and show me. Of course I eventually found it, no air con, music or lights but not suprised. When we first arrived the lady at reception recommended booking for the restaurant as it gets busy, we didn’t book that night and we were asked by the waiter if we had a reservation but luckily there was space. We decided the next day to request a booking to which the response was ‘you don’t need to book there’s lots of rooms’, to which I confirmed what the waiter had said and so she reluctantly wrote my room number down on a piece of paper. I never even complain, especially when away on business, but only 1 night in I felt I needed to The plus side is the food is good, and the location is 10 minutes from the exhibition, shame it was taken over from the Hilton and the customer service is beyond poor.
