If you book with Trio you get the worst room in the hotel. That's how we were greeted and that's how it turned out. Super loud and very, very small. A room right next to the reception. The service was very inattentive every day. We had to order or remember things several times. The food was not good and far too expensive. The whole hotel is not worth the price. Not recommended!

Charming hotel in a Great location with serene atmosphere. Very courteous and helpful staff who took fabulous care of us. The dining area has lovely views and the service is impeccable. Lovely walks available in the tea gardens in the fresh, crisp air are an added bonus.

Very attractive boutique hotel at the heart of the tea growing region. It’s got fabulous views, the rooms are high standard and a good restaurant with an a la carte menu which changes daily. There’s lots of history and I imagine the hotel used to be the home of a tea plantation owner. It’s very tranquil and very relaxing with exceptional staff who go out of their way to look after their guests. Only possible negatives are that the bathrooms need updating at some point and the Langdale is a bit off the beaten track- about 30 mins from Nuwara Eliya.

A really stunning setting for a hotel, nestled amongst the Tea fields. This is really a beautiful hotel with lovely quaint rooms. The food was exceptional and staff were very friendly and helpful. Outside the hotel there's a walk you can do which takes you amongst the Tea fields. There is a pool area with sunbeds , but my one comment would be that a few more umbrellas would be useful . we wanted to sit by the pool but unfortunately there was no room and the sunbeds on the lawn had no shade either. The other area up on the lawn outside the restaurant has one table with four chairs and that was also occupied . I think this particular day all the guests stayed in the hotel ! So my one suggestion to the management would be to perhaps put a couple more seating areas around with tables for guests to sit in. Apart from this it was a wonderful stay in a lovely setting.

Veramente deluso dal rapporto qualità prezzo Stanze piccole Wi fi non funziona Servizio cena e colazione disastrosa A cena pur avendo scelto il Menu nel pomeriggio serviti dopo 40 minuti e ho dovuto aspettare oltre 30 minuti per avere un bicchiere di acqua Qualità del cibo pessima A colazione, prenotata per le 07.00 poiché dovevo partire alle 07.30 hanno iniziato a portare il cibo , pessimo alle 07.25 Se questo è un servizio da hotel 5 stelle…..

Set on the side of a hill, this is a really inviting hotel. Its facilities are plentiful with activities for all active people. Staff immediately are on hand to help and offer advice to travellers; and done with a smile. The rooms are very well proportioned and bedrooms are modern with old colonial charm. The food was delicious and served on time. The menu changed so was not repetitive. It was well presented and plentiful. The views are incredible, taking in sweeping vistas of the surrounding hills with tea plantations all around. Quiet and restful. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is placed on a beautiful location on a hill. Lovely views from the room. Clean and has a British touch to the property. Most importantly the general manager and staff looks after us beyond our expectation. We met The chefs for food and Pastry. They are just beyond imagination with what they produce. We had an amazing time and Thank you and we will visit again.

Very nice place. The view is amazing, the people are very helpful and friendly, good beds, good food and clean. We didn’t want to leave, I definitely recommend to go here if you look for a beautiful and relaxing stay in the middle of the tea plantages of Nuwara Eliya.
