First-class service, very European style. The hotel environment is very good and worth the experience

[Location] It's not in the center, it's on the mountainside. It looks like one to two kilometers away from the city, and it's better to be quiet. In the afternoon, I felt a bit cold. The English-style manor looks quite good overall, but it is estimated to be old and the rooms are average. Although warm, it is not good. The dining experience is good, but the service charge is quite expensive. Dinner is a la carte and shows. I also sing a lot of Chinese songs ... Asked the waiter to help book a rush in the morning and packed breakfast, which was not bad.

Ok: The environment is good, close to the pink post office, go down and turn right. Bad: The sheets are pilling, not one piece, all pilling. The first time I met, more than 1,300 nights, I would give this kind of thing.          I ordered two bottles of Coke at dinner, and I had more than 20 yuan in total. I chased after the money and told him that he had not finished eating it, and he came again later.         Very cold at night, a small electric heater, it doesn't work at all.

A very attentive hotel. The hotel logo is printed with every corner you can see. The theme of the room is also green. The environment is also great. Dining ok buffet taste

Especially good this place is perfect. In fact, I live in a villa, there is a housekeeper, especially good, and the food I eat is also very good. I lived for two days and drink the sea food soup every day. It was delicious and the room was especially clean. It was obvious that it was an old house, but it was really clean and it was very cheap. We two people, the appetizer, the soup, the staple food, and ate 155. The service is so good, the butler is very polite and gentle. Breakfast needs to be selected the night before. The butler also asked us if we need the menu of the main building there. He can get it back in 5 minutes, but I chose to eat here because I want to drink sea food soup. I will come out and ask what is the taste, delicious, really. I really like this place, quiet and fresh. Because I had to get up early in the Horton Plain, I told the butler the first day to take breakfast. It’s a great place to take a lot of photos, but unfortunately only 9 photos.

Check in 28/3 Check out 1/4 I had a wonderful stay here to visit the sights of Nuwara Eliya. At the time of my visit, it was pre-awurudu so it was relatively quiet, I'd heard this is where many locals come for their new year staycation because of the much more manageable climate! My room was clean and comfortable, plenty of choice for buffet breakfast and dinner (I had half board), in a gorgeous building with stunning views on the view deck overlooking the town and Lake Gregory. And the reception staff were lovely to chat with every day. They also arranged a brilliant tuktuk driver, Samara, for me who really looked after me on all my day trips. If you need a reliable tuk driver who knows and is passionate about the local area, ask for Samara 🙏😊 I asked for an early morning breakfast box for a morning hike in Horton Plains, but there was a bit of miscommunication and I was given chicken sandwiches instead of cheese, when I don't eat meat 🙈 Still had enough to eat with the pastries, fruit etc, and Laxman - the Operations Manager - put things right for me immediately on my return with complimentary lunch to apologise. My thanks to you 🙏😊 This didn't overshadow my time here at all. Finally, I want to give my deepest thanks to Naduni, FOH in the restaurant. My stay at this hotel was the first stop on a 3-week solo journey through Sri Lanka, which can feel daunting! But Naduni's warmth whenever I attended the restaurant eased those fears. She works especially hard with humility, courtesy, friendliness and deep pride. My time in Nuwara Eliya was all the more enjoyable thanks to her kindness and care. The room was small but clean, and our 3 suitcases were only allowed to walk sideways. The bonus points are added to the exterior and decoration style of the hotel. The photos taken are absolutely literary. The boss is very warm and gentle, and the dinner is very beautiful. Unfortunately, I am not used to it, and I am almost wasted. The next day at 5:30 in the morning, I will go to Horton Plains and the hotel will help pack the breakfast. If the room requirements are not high, definitely recommend it here.

The hotel is good, the facilities in the room are slightly worse, the bathroom is relatively small, the price is not very favorable, and there is a small swimming pool outside. However, the temperature is very low and the swimming pool is very slow. I am swimming in the water for a long time.

We have been travelling around Sri Lanka and decided to spend some time in Nuwara Eliya which often gets forgotten as a destination. It is a beautiful place, slightly cooler but with the usual Sri Lankan friendly hospitality. The Westbury Palace is quirky but fun - think Old Colonial meets Marie Antoninette. Large rooms, four poster beds, elabrate drapes and freestanding baths with claw feet. A little bit tired around the edges but very clean and quiet and with a fab billiard room, a heated pool and a small gym with good running machine. The staff could not do more for you - they are fabulous and so keen to make your stay a good one. Breakfast is fruit, pastries and cooked English breakfast or a Sri Lankan breakfast with fabulous hoppers - best we tasted. The great thing too about the Westbury is its position. You can easily walk to Lake Gregory one way, and Queen Victoria Park in Nuwara Eliya itself, the other way. There is a fab restaurant within 3 minutes walk called Themperadu (check out on tripadvisor), great curry and beers for around £10 a head. We asked the chef at Westbury to cook us dinner one night and it was fabulous - tempura prawns, homemade mushroom soup, lamb chops and a stunning cheesecake (see our photos). They set up a table outside for us with candles and it made for a lovely romantic evening. They are so proud to deliver great service. The guys at the Westbury can arrange transport for you too, whether a car or tuk, tuk and you shouldn't miss a visit to the beautiful and serene Hakgala Botanic Gardens and the Lovers Leap Waterfall (both can be done in a morning). Nuwara Eliya is between Ella and Kandy, and we highly highly recommended the Westbury for a couple of nights on your Sri Lanka travels.

The environment is really very good. The villa is located in a small village on the hill. It is very quiet and the locals are super and kind. A minute or two from the hotel, there is a green area overlooking the entire lake, a superb view. The hotel is large, with a large yard at the back, sitting in the yard and watching the children playing and drinking coffee there, really comfortable. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night, otherwise the scenery here is so good that it is worth living for a whole day. The only thing that spits out is the road to and from the hotel. It is too scary, one-way street, mountain path, no street light. Fortunately, our driver is very professional and recognizes the road.
