Nachdem wir uns eine halbe Stunde lang durch Schlaglöcher gekämpft haben, kamen wir im eagles nest an. Der erste Eindruck beim Check-in war atemberaubend. Die Aussicht über den Nationalpark ist magisch. Wir hatten ein Zelt ohne Bad. Es war sehr sauber, hatte Strom, Licht, Moskitonetze und viel Platz. Die gemeinschaftsduschen und Toiletten waren gepflegt und schön. Allgemein haben wir für gleiches Geld mehr Luxus bekommen als in anderen Unterkünften. Es gibt ein festgelegtes 3 Gänge Menü mit vegetarischer Option, welches sehr lecker war. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Bis zum Nationalpark waren es nur 5 Minuten Fahrt. Das einzige anstrengende war die Lautstärke der Soundanlagen im Nachbardorf, die abends und nachts die Ruhe stören können, aber das liegt nicht am Hotel. Eine klare Empfehlung, wir würden Wiederkommen

The view from your room/tent is one of a kind! You overlook Lake Mburo in its entirety! We went for a boat trip on the lake early morning as we are birders and had 3 very special bird ticks on our bird trip! The tent is on the small size with only space for 1 suitcase on a table, although the shower and bathroom space is nice and spacious. The shower was nice and hot . We were in tent no: C10 and we thought the space between the bathroom and tent could be more private. Food was average to good. No notice or info was given regarding not drinking or brushing your teeth with water in the rooms, also no water was supplied in the rooms. You had to buy water for that, which we thought could be supplied like the other lodges! Overall a nice stay with an exceptional view!

It was overall a good experience with a great view of Mrubo National Park. The staff were helpful and friendly. the accommodations were clean and comfortable. The food was delicious. It was very relaxing to sit out and gaze at the landscape.

Laatste hotel van onze rondreis. Hele mooie ligging en uitzicht, tent met eigen sanitair wat kleiner dan de rest van de reis. Bed is prima en er is een muskietennet. Vanaf terras met de verrekijker veel te zien. Eten is goed. Ook hier een 4 gangendiner. De wandelsafari is erg leuk om te doen.

The property, perched on a high hill, was suprisingly convenient to Lake Mburo National Park. The common area is open to the view, which is spectactular. That;s where we had our meals and relaxed on comfortable couches. Our "glamping" tent also offered a view, and included an en suite bathroom and shower. The staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciated the mix and variety of accomodations on the tour, and was grateful for the addition of this type of property.

This place is beautifully located at the top of the hill in Lake Mburo National Park. The restaurant and lobby offers great views of the park. The tents are nicely spaced out around the main building, shared bathroom is clean. The beds were comfortable, Wi-Fi worked great in the restaurant. The food was very tasty. Very close to the official entrance to the National park.

The Eagle's Nest is a charming hotel on the top of a hill from which the magnificence of Lake Mburo is divided, justifying its appropriate name. The rooms are tented-camp style, although spacious, clean and with all the necessary comforts, and a large bathroom. The food was delicious, and they took into account the fact that we were both vegetarians. The staff, as almost always in Uganda, friendly and cordial. In short, highly recommended to anyone who wants to visit this beautiful Lake Mburo National Park. I would return without hesitation.

The views from the lodge are magnificent and the tents were super luxury. The tent is actually placed within a shelter, so there’s a terrace with seats and a half enclosed bathroom at the back through the tent. The beds are comfortable and have mosquito nets. Only downside is the tent gets hot during the afternoon and the frogs were loud so I had to use earplugs. Also, never thought I would say this about a tent, but the hot water was too hot.
