First of all: a big praise to the staff of this wonderful hotel: Especially David Costa in Guest Relations and Enrique, the Chef. They made our stay here wonderful. Enrique is a true master of his profession. And David helped us to solve our problem: The hotel was too noisy for us. Many families with babies, and in addition, a very loud orchestra playing during almost all evenings at the only restaurant that was open for dinner. That was too much for us. David found for us a country hotel in Galicia, called "Aurea Palacio de Sober". That was much more to our taste. My recommendation for the Eurostars group is the following: Eurostars owns 3 properties on this small island of La Toja. Why not designate one hotel for families with small children, and make this Gran Hotel a place for a more adult clientèle (over 12 years old)? This magnificent hotel has the potential to become the equivalent of Cap d'Antibes or Hostal de la Gavina, but it needs a facelift: definitely new sunbeds by the pool with a foam mattress, a renovation of the rooms, and a different concept for the evening meals. The location and the tradition make this hotel unique - but it needs a new concept and a renovation. The staff is one of the best I found at any hotel in the world. With this staff, this hotel could become really "GRAND" - if Eurostars decides to invest in this place.

Hotel clásico de la isla, un referente. Ubicado en lugar privilegiado. Llevo varios años yendo y en los últimos veo que no ofrece lo se paga. Excelente desayuno, buen spa, pero habitaciones y resto de comidas poco acordes a un cinco estrellas.

Es preferible un fin de semana en este hotel que una semana en un 5 estrellas del Caribe. El servicio es inmejorable las instalaciones clásicas y de gran categoría , la comida fantástica , las vistas maravillosas, cada año repito y cada año es mejor. Para mí el mejor sitio de España para descansar y jugar al golf unos dias

No había vuelto desde que cambió el propietario. Sigue siendo un hotel de enjundia con el spa renovado y las instalaciones puestas al día. El servicio, discreto y agradable como corresponde a un hotel de esta categoría. Restaurante eficiente y la cafetería inglesa estupenda. Bien atendida la piscina con servicio de toallas diligente y buffet de desayuno bien surtido. Estancia de 5 días muy agradable

Estancia perfecta. La atención ha sido al nivel de las 5 estrellas. La zona exterior muy agradable, la piscina exterior climatizada se agradece en este mes que aún las temperaturas no son altas. El buffet del desayuno no le falta de nada y las vistas impresionantes. Se respira aún ese ambiente de gran hotel. Me gustaría que hubiese duchas en lugar de bañera.

Un gran hotel, una piscina preciosa, un spa muy bien preparado, un desayuno espectacular, un aparacamiento amplio y bien organizado, un personal muy educado y amable... Las habitaciones, sin embargo, necesitan una remodelación y los cuartos de baño la piden con urgencia.

Lugar con muchísimo encanto. Fuimos a una boda y salimos rechiflados El entorno es espectacular, la habitación muy acogedora y la terraza inmensamente amplia. Estuvimos cómodos y sobretodo a gusto con la amabilidad del personal. La cena contaba con un ambiente cálido e íntimo, y loa camareros que nos atendieron en él desayuno fueron amables y empaticos. Experiencia única en un hotel emblemático.

Antes de ir, asegúrate de que no se va a celebrar ninguna boda mientras dure tu estancia. Si tienes la mala suerte de que así sea, no dormirás hasta las cuatro de la mañana. Ah! Y no confíes en las explicaciones que te ofrezcan en la recepción acerca de la hora en que termina la juerga. A las 12 de la noche, te dirán que acaba a la 1; a la 1 que a las 2; a las 2 que a las 3 y a las 3 que a las 4. Total, para alojarte encima de una discoteca, no hace falta que pagues tarifa de 5 estrellas.

Un sitio de paz. Quizás le hace falta reforma en instalaciones comunes y algo más de limpieza en exteriores, no obstante lo recomiendo por el entorno y el edificio. Desayuno espectacular, buenas vistas.
