One of the better Premier Inns I have stayed in. I stayed for 3 nights over the weekend paddle steamer Waverley was sailing from Oban, which was the reason for my visit. Unfortunately this meant the cost of the room was higher than I'd usually pay for a Premier Inn, however this was understandable. The location is perfect - close to the railway station, bus stops and ferry terminal. It was a very short walk to the North Pier to catch Waverley. I had to request maid service each day, but the service received was to a very high standard. Staff were helpful and friendly. I was disappointed not to get a sea view room. I had attempted to call the hotel a couple of times to ask for this, but each time it rang out. When I checked in they said I should email in future to request this. The receptionist did his very best to move me to a room with a sea view when I checked in, however they were very busy and nothing was available. I only had breakfast once, and it was quite mediocre. The orange juice was not fresh - it was something akin to Sunny Delight, which was quite a let down. There is a cafe very close to the hotel which offers a far superior breakfast at a similar price. However if you are in a hurry it is okay. I will definitely return here, and overall I found it to be very good.
