Muthu Oban Regent Hotel
"Great location, view of water, room was large clean & modern with tea coffee and sparkling and still water. Staff were efficient and friendly and were always happy and helpful. I would 100% recommend this hotel when staying in Oban ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
Corran House Guest House
"Nice easy place to stay for a tour of Oban"
The Perle Oban Hotel & Spa
"Excellent Hotel The location is great, the rooms are clean and nice and big. Breakfast was very good. The staff where pleasant and very helpful. The only moan is about The Brasserie We booked the Brasserie for my wife’s birthday meal on the Saturday evening, we both love seafood so we ordered Oysters to start, the waiter came back and said they hadn’t got any Oysters, I asked what seafood was available from the menu and he said they only had mussels. Very disappointed to say the least, considering Oban is the Seafood capital of Scotland. So we went to EE USK down the road and had a wonderful seafood meal, they had everything we asked for and wanted. for"
The Kelvin Hotel
"It was very convenient as it was close to the ferry terminal and train station, and within walking distance of town. The only downside was that the sink was too small to even wash my face, but the room was clean and I slept soundly. There was tea, coffee, and milk in the room, so it was nice to be able to drink a variety of drinks."
The Pier Rooms
Don Muir Guesthouse
"Nicely presented guesthouse. Though it says no food the proprietor Caroline, kindly left some goodies and breakfast Muesli and flakes in the room which was a nice touch. 😁😁"
Oban Bay Hotel
"The hotel was ideally located and featured a modern, stylish interior. The only drawback was the breakfast offering, we would have preferred a buffet option for greater variety and convenience."
Premier Inn Oban
"Just outside Oban Central Station, it's just a right turn, a less than five-minute walk. The price is reasonable, and the location is very convenient. I'd definitely stay here again if I were to visit again. It's a perfect choice. The room was of standard, consistent with Premier Inn standards: bright, clean, comfortable, and spacious."
Glencruitten House
"We are returning customers and once again a fantastic afternoon tea. Today we visited as a Mother’s Day treat. The food and service were both great. I can honestly say, the sausage rolls were up with the best I have ever tasted 😋, I would also highly recommend tasting the Turkish delight tea. What a beautiful setting to relax and be spoiled for an afternoon. Looking forward to our next visit to give the Sunday roast a go."

Corriemar House
"Lovely accommodation and very helpful staff. All areas really well kept and spotless; location excellent, very short distance to main shopping area but in a lovely location opposite waters."
Lochaline Hotel
Melfort House
"Melfort House is set in beautiful, well-maintained gardens with superb views from the rooms towards Melfort Bay. The house is full of interesting old maps and paintings. Our bedroom was large, clean and very comfortable. A nice touch was the provision of a noggin of whisky for a bedtime dram - a Scottish hospitality tradition. Breakfast was excellent; the scrambled eggs were done to perfection. A bonus of visiting in May was that the rhodendrons were at their best."
Blair Villa South
"We had a great time there. The room is cozy and the hosts are nice. Definitely recommend it."
The Scot
"Good location. Friendly staff. Traffic noises was be loud since our room windows are facing the main road. Noise proofing recommended."
Failte Bed & Breakfast
"Thomas and Isabel have really worked to make their home inviting and beautiful by paying attention to all the little and big details. The room was spotless and comfortable. The house is beautifully decorated with art—even breakfast was a beautiful experience."
No17 the Promenade
"This is very small botique hotel, didn't look impressive front the entrance outside hotel. The moment we went in, it is really cozy & we were greeted by very warming in house manager & booked dinner table as well. We enjoyed their breakfast and as well as dinner, very good quality. Our concern is this hotel doesn't have lift."
Isle of Eriska Hotel Spa & Island
"Environment ➕ Castle, awesome!"
Dalrigh House
"Really lovely stay"
Falls of Lora Hotel
"Our Second time staying at this Wonderful Hotel and it was great once again! The staff really are brilliant, they remembered us from our stay last year and were very friendly, again, remembering our name each time we went to the bar/restaurant. We ate in the Restaurant all three nights and loved everything! The food is fresh, home cooked and really tasty! The Venison was great and I ended up having it two nights in a row! Beautiful gardens across the road and a great base to explore the surrounding areas with plenty parking. We will be back again and again I am sure!"
Ardtorna
"Would not choose another hotel!"
Knipoch House Hotel
The Great Western Hotel
"The room was dirty and I would not stay again"
Palace Hotel - Small Hotel
"This place is appalling and a safety risk. Corridors littered with junk and boxes of goodness knows what , threadbare carpets, holes in the ceiling’ wallpaper hanging off and that’s just for starters. 10 flights of stairs to a family room because the owner gave ours to another customer and no we weren’t late. Directly outside our room was an ancient hoover, a folding bed, and a box. Radiator mounted half way up a wall alongside the TV complete with an aerial??? Electrics were quite suspect and the bathroom also had safety issues and hadn’t seen a duster in many a year. Linen was old and worn. The “new windows” had cable ties to stop them being opened too far??? Beds were old and uncomfortable. No fire regulations were visible in the room and we could not locate a fire exit. How on earth this establishment passed any fire regulations beats me. We only stayed for 3/4 of a night as we were on an early ferry so it was pointless to try and find somewhere else. The signs saying they were undergoing a refurbishment were probably printed in the 70’s as there were no signs of any ongoing improvements at all. Do not stay here is our advice"
Oyster Inn Connel
"The apartment was spotless and well-organized. Breakfast was served and it was absolutely delicious."
