This hotel is a seriously bad state of repair. It should not be open. There is no management present and although the young staff were very nice, they were ill-equipped to run this place. Mold, paint chipped “tub” in the middle of the room covered in dried soap scum, no door to the toilet that works. The grounds, besides the mowed grass, were in a terrible state. There is no landscaping crew here. The greenhouse looked like a set for a horror movie. The entire property is inundated with ****s. When you have a patio with tables that each are flower pots and the only thing in them is 15” ****s, you know you don’t care anymore. I was told by the very nice young girl chef that they are planning a renovation. They should close until that is complete

I returned to this hotel 9 years later and it was a disappoin**ent. I stayed there for two days and when I tried to take a shower there was no hot water (to which I was told that perhaps the next door neighbor had used up the 200 liters from the tank) On the second day I returned to the room at 4pm so I was asked to wait because he wasn't there. clean! Which hotel that charges 5-star prices doesn't care about the customer's well-being? When the cleaning cart was in the passage, the customer had to step through the mud to get through! Weak breakfast for the type of hotel it is, as there is no menu to choose from and the dishes available to serve ourselves were always wet. Even a simple toaster could improve the service.

The space and service are phenomenal! The room is fantastic. Romantic and functional environment. The fireplace creates a cozy a**osphere. The surrounding space is magical! From the greenhouse to the gardens. Very close to the seaside. Returning with the whole family

The space is completely integrated into nature, with silence and peace all around and you don't even feel like leaving the hotel all the time. The architecture of the space is completely original, reusing materials and making it very comfortable. Great food.

It’s a great concept with high potential. Maybe it was nice when it was new 10 years ago but maintenance is poor. Also the restaurant is really slow, food is OK. Don’t do the tasting menu - it was slow, cold and more like an afterthought for the staff. Some items OK but most just bland and over cold. Maybe the kitchen had a bad day the night we are there, but boy it felt like the tasting menu was just a way to offload some stuff they didn’t sell. I know it’s harsh but sadly true. Needless to say I would.not recommend to now. But if they renovate or at least fix what is annoyingly broken - like doors won’t close, floor board popping out etc. Then it would be acceptable. It felt like they just didn’t care.

The hotel has a pleasant hippie chic style, where the calm, silence and friendliness of the staff stand out. However, structures (especially wooden ones) require some maintenance/renovation. Very pleasant breakfast with some dishes made to order/made to order. Good restaurant. Electric chargers do not work with cards. It is necessary to request activation at reception, payment is hourly and only possible during reception opening hours (until 00:00). Getting better.

Being our anniversary, I chose it, which according to the advertising and price indicate an excellent stay, however I was a little disappointed. We were received with the greatest friendliness and quickly escorted to the room where we were immediately warned that water would enter the room when it rained, we thought it was a little strange but we didn't pay much attention until it rained and I found myself having to wear sneakers to use the bathroom. shower, on the first night we reported the problem and a super nice girl went to the room, cleaned the floor, changed the towels that held the water that came from the street, apologized for what had happened and only solved the problem temporarily because the same thing happened the next day and it was when they suggested we change rooms, this room was more or less the same as the floors of the rooms, uncomfortable and in parts, in my opinion, even dangerous if you walk around barefoot, wood crumbling without any trea**ent and lifting, uncomfortable bathtubs, lots of cobwebs and insects too. Few treats for those who pay €200 per night for a bottle of water and 3 coffee capsules. In relation to the restaurant, the food was very average and sometimes tasteless and with absurd prices. €4 for a bottle of 0.75cl filtered mains water that knew what MAINS WATER was! We had as a starter a mini cheese that must have been cut a long time ago and exposed to the air as it was dry and oxidized. Small portions of fish and meat for the prices charged. €2.50 for a coffee (the most expensive I paid in Portugal). Chairs and tables were uncomfortable, heavy and wobbly. Last night we ordered Room service when we saw the prices, I admit that I thought that two fried eggs and 3 asparagus with a little tomato sauce cost €15 because they already included the Room service fee, to which I am not surprised when I see it on the final bill I paid and pay attention.........20€!!!! €20 to walk 100 meters to give me two pans of food that didn't even bring plates. I give it 3 stars because all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, otherwise the quality/price was completely absurd. The light failed several times. In the end with this tribulation no attention. In general, I managed to relax a little over the 3 days but I don't see myself paying these amounts again.
