Tomorrow our last available in Obzor, resort has 4 stars but only 2 are worthy. Upon arrival, the rooms were barely cleaned, dust nets, dead spiders, drinking glass sticks, stuck due to dirty furniture, worn out, in urgent need of renewal, breakfast is inedible, coffee machine is sticky with dust. is not a resort for us to come back to

Aurelia najlepsza animatorka. Super energia i komunikacja. Prowadzone zajęcia ciekawe i różnorodne. Dziękuję bardzo za wodną gimnastykę. Do morza blisko, plaża czysta. W ośrodku pięć basenów. Polecam serdecznie

An important truth, unfortunately, a hotel for the undemanding. I've been here 10 times but probably the last time. The management of this facility is dire. No one here cares about the tourist anymore, the hotel staff is surly, help with cleaning the room, so that you can clean it yourself, but there is nothing to do. The upside is that there are fewer and fewer tourists here, so the beach is almost empty. The greenery that used to be beautifully maintained here ceases to exist. It's a real shame how such a beautiful building can be brought to such a state. The food has never been good so I recommend only staying without food unless you want to go back to the communist canteen. A dying place is how I can sum it up.

Great location. Everything else - not so great. Especially bad is the cleaning of the rooms - the floor was always full of sand - didn't bother vacuuming it or washing it a single time(we were there 7 days). The balcony was never cleanedas well. Several times the garbage was not thrown. There was a sign that the towels would only by changed If they were on the floor, they should have mentioned that if they were on the floor under the hanger they would just hang them back for you instead of changing them. And last but not least - we were families with3 small kids and almost all of the days they came to "clean" at 1 pm, while the kids were sleeping and they always rang the doorbell multiple times, just to be sure to wale up everyone The stairs inthe building were never cleaned as well...

This place completely exceeded our expectations. Apartment B3/022 is among the best we have experienced on our many travels. Fully equipped kitchen diner, sitting room with two sofas, comfortable beds and amazing shower with seemingly endless hot water. Partial sea view on ground floor with a lovely big private terrace and access to the beach and all hotel facilities. The on-site mini-market had everything we needed for a self-catering holiday and the prices compared very favourably with those of the larger supermarkets in the town centre (approx. 1 mile away). There is a shuttle bus available for a small fee but we found it an easy walk which we counted as our daily exercise to offset all the eating and drinking. A half litre glass of local beer in the town bars is around 3.5 lev (about £1.60) 😏 Much quieter and more refined than Sunny Beach, Obzor is an ideal spot for families and people looking for a peaceful, relaxing break.

This is not an all inclusive and at beat 3 star. tui and jet2 should be ashamed for saying anything other. The only AI bar was at the other end of the large hotel. We had a huge balcony which was nice and held 3 sun loungers. The bar that was about 10 steps from our room we had to pay for!! All inclusive. The buffet was tiny . Luckily we went end of season (we were not told) so very few people used it . High season this would be horrendous . As a veggie food was crap but salad and cheese bar kept me alive. Most staff do not speak English ( why should they) but ran out of wine and other drinks ( we are all inclusive) the best staff was Anna in the restaurant *ukrainian xx love her and Stan the man at the bar. Rooms were visited every two days by "cleaner's" but never cleaned the bathroom or changed toilet roll ( good job I took my own!! ( Views nice . Isolated and quiet . Not what advertised. Not recommended.

We flew from Newcastle on Monday 19th September 2022. The flight was delayed by an hour on the outward journey, but this was due to baggage handling problems and down to the airport and not Jet2. We were kept well informed by the pilot. The transfer to the hotel was well handled. Obzor Beach Resort is an excellent hotel and right on the beach. The facilities of the hotel were being closed down but I expected this because we were staying right at the end of the season so this was not a problem; in fact I liked it quiet although I got a bit of grief from my wife for not stressing to her exactly just how quiet it would be! Obzor Town itself is a pleasant 15-minute stroll along the beach or along a path. We went self-catering and there was a shop on the premises which supplied all our food and drink needs. The room itself was fine, with an oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, hair dryer, microwave and coffee machine (although it was impossible to buy filter papers for the coffee maker anywhere in Obzor so take your own!). Some of the restaurants in Obzor (and all but one of the restaurants in the hotel) had closed for the season but there were two nice restaurants in the main square in the town, these being 'The House' and 'Sevastopol', although neither served Bulgarian beer on draught, which I found a bit odd (I very much prefer to drink the local wine and beer when I'm on holiday). We hired a car for 2 days, cost 70 euros which I thought was very reasonable and we visited Varna, a lovely city port on the Black Sea which was about an hour's drive and Nessebar, a beautiful resort just along the coast which has an old town area that is a UNESCO World Heritage site. So for a 60s couple like us, it was ideal but for anyone with younger people or kids, it would be great in the summer season but avoid late September. The transfer on the way back was fine, minibus arrived on time and plane took off timeously also. The only minor irritations on the way back was that the pilot didn't address the passengers until we were within about half an hour of landing back in England which I thought was a bit naff: I'm used to the pilot welcoming passengers aboard and briefing them on the coming flight. Also I bought 200 cigarettes in a supermarket in Obzor and put them in my (unlocked) suitcase: when I opened my case back home they were gone, presumably stolen by staff at Obzor Airport. My own fault for being too trusting and not putting them in my hand luggage.
