Hotels Near Korup Kirke in Odense

The location is good, the environment is good, the room is clean and tidy, suitable for a small and old travel. Buying food and cooking is very convenient, and finding a suitable homestay on the road is really good.

This was our first long holiday, since last years weekend away. It's central to all the places, we wanted to do in the city. Even though it was busy (3.30pm), the reception staff 100% on the ball. We were assigned room 219. So that everyone knows, all room have names etc from H. C. Andersen or others (I think🤔 ) on the doors. Going in the room was hot, and that's when my husband told me, there is no air conditioning. Now we've been to hotels in Germany, Austria etc, and all have had air con. So I was surprised that most of the hotels in Denmark doesn't 🤯. I told my husband, as the weather forecast stated that there will be a heatwave. We couldn't keep the window open when we were out, or at night. Fyi there was a fan in the room ( that really didn't help). So we went back out to the reception, to ask if we could change rooms. We was given a new key card (317), to look at a room on the 3rd floor. This was better, so we moved all our gear, and returned room (219) card. (Another fyi) when you leave the room, you take the key card out of the slot near the door, that cuts most of the power off. So we couldn't keep the fan on, but the window was open. 219 room's bathroom, was all new with auto sensors on the sink tap, but in room 317, it's was normal taps. And the bathroom was a bit dated. As I'm 5ft 4ins, it was really, and I mean rally hard to reach the taps at the far end of the bath tab. As the shower screen was not movable. I have to get my husband 6ft 3ins, to reach in (umm after the rain shower wet him. The switch over from shower to bath was kinda broken), to turn on the tap for the bath. I was surprised once again, that there were on mini fridge (luckily we brought our cooler box with us), or any toiletries, apart from the hand soap. If you mean any you either have to buy at the reception (did smell nice), or to the nearby shops to buy some. I do like a try/buy pillow catalogue, pity there wasn't one for the mattress. I'm sorry, but like the name of our room Princess and Pea. The mattress were rock hard, and both of us had back pains (that we both had to take pain killers during our stay). Car parking, is not the hotel one, but the city one. It's the cheapest and right next to the hotel, but my husband said it was strange that it wasn't hotel parking. As you have to be lucky to get a parking spot (and pray that there are no double parking, as one person parked over the line, so that no one can park next to them 😡). The rest of the parking lot in the city are costly. Oh and the buy one get a drink free offer, is not good. As the drinks are very expensive, more that a normal bar price...thank to the bar staff who made a not too strong drink, that my husband wanted me to try. Now for the good stuff. Like all the photos of the hotel, that's what you see...and wow! I couldn't stop taking photos lol. We booked for breakfast included, and we're glad we did. There were hot and cold to chose from. Fried chicken praise, the staff is particularly enthusiastic, because English is not very good, the first time to go abroad is free, many places do not understand, the front desk aunt patiently told me to check in what she needs, breakfast time is also specially written for me On the paper, the place where the luggage is stored is on the side of the front desk. There is a small recess, not a special luggage room, but the aunt at the front desk is on the side to help us watch it. After check-out, I play in the city of Odense. For a long time, there was no change in things and before going, thanks to the fried chicken~ Breakfast is also very good, no photos, there are not many kinds, but they are very delicious, drinks are white water, yogurt, orange juice, milk, fried orange chicken, good taste, there is a big basket, inside is a Kind of bread, each bread is different, there are carrots, dried fruits, and sesame, carrots are particularly delicious, I have never eaten carrots, people have eaten two pieces of meat There is bacon, there is a piece of meat that I don't know is a cockroach, and there is a stuff that may be made with peas and bolognese. The meat sauce is especially delicious. We went to Copenhagen, Aarhus and Copenhagen. Clarion Airport Hotel near the airport, things like liver pate and bolognese are not delicious for Odense. Wipe it on the bread, then add a few slices of meat, then a few slices of pickled cucumber, fried chicken is delicious~ The house is not big, but the Nordic side is like this. It takes about five minutes to get to the town hall, not far from the attractions such as Andersen’s former residence, and the train station. It’s about ten minutes walk, whether it’s in the city. Playing, or taking the train to Iesco Castle is very convenient, this kind of land, plus breakfast is only 700 yuan is very cheap.

Fantastic hotel Great service. Quaint old hotel on outskirts of Odense The restaurant is also fantastic. The sommelier was extremely helpful and his Wine list was fantastic Breakfast of good Quality Rooms comfortable and bed linen Nice, but could do with a refurbish. We stayed in the new block very close to main building In Room 316 please change the shower head!

Very recommended hotel, especially self-driving, very close to the high speed, free parking. Some distance from the city center. The hotel facilities are very good, equivalent to the domestic four-star hotel, belonging to the conference hotel, the service is not bad. European style at breakfast. This price is very good value for staying in such a hotel in Denmark. The most recommended hotel in Denmark for a few days.

I was looking forward to our stay here, it was out most expensive accommodation for a 3 week trip. It was horrible. The check in girl was nice, but after that it went down hill. The room was a sauna. It was horribly hot so we thought we would just open the windows and get some air. Unfortunately it was surrounded by huge spiders and no screen to stop them from coming in. My husband killed a few in 1 window so we could open it for a few minutes but even he wasn’t getting near the big one (pic). No other resolution when we came to the front desk to tell them our room was so hot. Decided that well- if we are going to be hot we might as well enjoy our evening in the hot tub (a big reason we booked here) - but alas, it was cold. Again, no resolution for that from the front desk. They also don’t have towels down at the spa/pool area which was very odd- and if you didn’t look on the floor of the closet in your room under the slippers, you wouldn’t have known that’s where the towel is that you are supposed to take with you (we found it as we were leaving). It has a fridge, which was essential for us and a deciding factor (meds that need refrigerated) - but it didn’t work. Come morning, everything is warm and destroyed. We didn’t sleep well at all with the room so hot (it had to be at least 75f, 24c in there). Packed up and went to grab breakfast just before 9am. Was a breakfast buffet. The fruit and bread were good. Hot food wasn’t hot or the container was empty, so if you plan to have hot food you apparently need to go much earlier. It was nice to finally see the ocean though during breakfast since our room overlooked the roof and parking lot. We stayed in a 1bedroom apartment in downtown Copenhagen for half the cost of this place and it was far more comfortable. Maybe in the winter this place would be good when you need it warm inside. But in the summer (even when it’s not very hot outside) it is just far too hot inside the room without the AC working. The amenities are broken and need updated. The old tv remote was so large and heavy you could kill someone if you hit them in the head with it. Told the front desk all the problems and disappointment when we left in the morning. They didn’t seem to care. I highly suggest you move on. There has to be far better places than this at a much less cost.

The Bistro has excellent food. They have a very nice salad bar. My mother really liked her chicken that came with a nice sauce. The waitstaff was very nice, especially Peter. The place is small but worth the visit.

They considering their hotel is good enough due to location and doing nothing to make it’s service better. Room costing more than it’s worth. Too poor, with even no bottle of water inside. When we asked for a water they told that they get used to drink water from the tap in Denmark. Imagine you’re coming to a good restaurant and they will tell you the same ? don’t think so. It means hotel service is on the lowest level. Breakfast was simple, can’t say they taking too much care of it. The cheapest products. For ex..: in CPH you can find a room 2 times cheaper, which is renovated and caring about details to make your stay good.
