The Trellis House

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at Trellis House. We were offered a glass of bubbly on arrival, delectable snacks and soothing cocktails late afternoon, fun conversation with other guests, post-dinner sweets and delicious breakfasts. Laurence, Glen and staff are the ultimate hosts. They even made an anniversary cake to celebrate the occasion. Of course, this is in addition to the pampered sleep accommodations! We look forward to returning in the future!

Great location, great house, and the owners and staff couldn't have been any nicer. Breakfasts and happy hours were great. You can easily walk to town or to Perkins Cove. Many restaurants within an easy walk ---no need to use your car. We hope to return soon.

We enjoyed our one night stay, I wish we had stayed for longer! Great food, friendly and well organized staff. The decor is lovely and the common areas are kept clean. Just a brief walk away from Marginal Way and Perkins Cove, as well as downtown.

If you like staying at Bed & Breakfast Inns then don’t miss the Trellis House. Fabulous staff and owners! A toast of the bubbly as a welcome was appreciated after our 5 hour drive. We stayed in Camden Cottage which was cozy, although the cool and drizzly weather prohibited us from sitting outside among the lovely gardens. Be sure to be on time for the 4:30 cocktail hour. You buy your beverage and Laurence supplies the delightful treats. Every day has different items. As with the daily gourmet breakfasts. The cozy dining area is smartly decorated and the table placements make it easy to chatter with other guests. Glen and Laurence bring the entrees and Mimosa’s or Bloody Mary’s if you wish. A true classy establishment close to all of the Ogunquit sites. You won’t be disappointed!

What a wonderful 4 nights! The inn itself is beautifully and lovingly decorated, but the highlight was the great people there. Laurence and Glen are amazing hosts in every way. The food was so delicious. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

We usually stay at Select Registry B&B's because there will be a minimum (high) quality of service and accommodations, but Laurence & Glen - and their staff - blew us away. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like royalty. Outstanding happy hour, fantastic breakfast, and the staff (including L &G) were always checking to see if there was anything else we needed. Loved the room we stayed in and the Trellis House location makes it easy to get anywhere else in the area you need to go, by car or foot. Truly one of the best B&B experiences we've ever had! Thanks a ton guys!!

Love the location, the decor, the staff, the gourmet food. Been going for 19 years! Love Ogunquit. Walking distance to The Marginal Way, and. the beautiful beach. Walking distance to restaurants and Perkins Cove. Rooms are all different and decorated with style.

Fantastic as always. We have stayed here many times & love .the property, the location and the owners ! Comfy beds & pillows, great included breakfast ! ! Easy to get on the Marginal way & short walks to great dining. .Fun staff & great breakfast conversations, amazing coffee too .Just the best!

This was our second stay at the Trellis House. We also stayed at their adjoining property The Blue Shutters Studios a couple of years ago. I can not say enough about this wonderful place. My Husband and I stayed in the Camden Cottage. It was charming and spotless. The Queen bed and pillows were comfortable. The sheets luxurious. The gourmet breakfast served each morning was positively delicious. Happy hour is so fun. The provided snacks are again, delicious and our cocktails served from the cash bar, excellent. The grounds are beautifully kept and so peaceful to enjoy your morning coffee or just relax throughout the day. The owners, Laurence and Glen, along with their staff Dee and Susan, and all others who work at the Trellis House/Blue Shutters go out their way to make sure your stay here is special. They go above and beyond to make sure all your wants and needs are met. Everyone is so kind, sociable, welcoming and thoughtful. Laurence you are an amazing cook! Your meals and snacks are so fantastic. We are truly grateful to everyone for the wonderful weekend we spent here and can’t wait for a return visit.
