Villa Ohrid

Location is good

The room I had faced Lake Ohrid. It was amazing to wake up and have coffee on the balcony. Except for hearing an occassional yell from a boat, the area is so quiet. You're up on a hill so you overlook the lake and the town. It was a great view. The room was just what you would want. A shower and attached bathroom. Two beds and a balcony. There is also a kitchen down the hall for community use which had a coffee pot, dishes, pots, pans and silverware. I really enjoyed this hotel and the entire area. Go see lake Ohrid before its over run by tourists. This place is a little gem you find once in a while.

We enjoyed the pool. We REALLY appreciated that the adult pool was open 24/7. We liked the room. It was odd & interesting, but nice, and it had great views from the balcony! We also liked the kitchenette quite a bit (even though the stovetop was hard to figure out how to use). The front desk staff member who waited an extra hour to check us in was amazing! She was incredibly kind and helpful, and the front desk staff was consistently fantastic!! On the other had, we didnt care for the breakfast staff. The service was a bit aloof, slow, and difficult. We also did not care for the food itself. We didnt like anything that we ate over both days of our stay. Overall we enjoyed our time, flaws and all, it was nice here.

After cancelling a trip to Ohrid no less than 3 times due to Covid when it was finally safe to go I was determined to book the best place to stay in town and I found it here in the beautiful Panoramic apartment - all to myself. What a place! The moment you open the door you are met with that view which is always there to greet you. The location is wonderful - just 10 minutes from the town with the amphitheatre literally on the doorstep. I arrived on a Bank Holiday so the shops were shut but the host very kindly gave me some milk so that I could at least have breakfast. The convenience store up the road was open the following day for essentials with a larger supermarket in town. The apartment though really is wonderful with a lovely comfy bed, good WIFI, plenty of hot water and a well equipped kitchen with microwave and hob and of course your own balcony. In early May it was warm enough to sit outside for breakfast or for my evening meal watching the sun go down. The host is just lovely - always there when needed, but understanding when you don't - she arranged a taxi to take me to the airport which was really helpful and gave lots of tips for exploring the town - a lovely lady. I recommend this place to everyone!

Property is a bit up the hill but luckily it’s good walk.

Perfect stay with the most stunning view of the lake. Really sweet host. Can really recommend this place in the old part of town

The Ohrid lake view from the balcony of these rooms is amazing. I've stayed here several times now and it has always been excellent. Highly recommended for inexpensive stay.
