The only positive thing is the location. Unkept hotel, minimal breakfast, poor quality food, unprofessional and cold staff. Little empathy. We asked for a quiet room and were given a room above a wedding party. We couldn't sleep all night. They assured us a partial refund, never arrived.

Hotel definitely not 5 star. Skirting board fell off as I was across the room on first day. Was given a replacement room. No end fitted to curtain pole so when opened curtain next day it fell on the floor, Given a torn towel on fourth day. Food on buffet always cold, cold soup and cold chips every evening not appealing and too far out of town to go elsewhere. Lakeside views and spa good, but rooms sold as “Mountain View” should have been “car park view”.

This hotel is beautifully situated on the shores of Lake Ohrid. If you have a lakeside view room, then you will not get tired of waking up in the morning and looking out of the window. The room we stayed in was generously proportioned and tidy, with ample space for luggage and relaxing. One slight negative point was that our bathroom only had a bath tub, and not a shower. The breakfast at the hotel was nice, with a range of cold meats, cheeses and hot filled pastries. The coffee from the bar was actually quite good too. The hotel has a nice swimming pool, with views of the lake and a small foreshore with a pebble beach. Unfortunately, the municipality of Ohrid, which is responsible for emptying the rubbish bins had not done so for some time, so there was a lot of litter down at the beach. On the plus side, within 12 hours of reporting this to the reception, the beach was lovely and clean again. Parking was a bit of a hassle, and I got the impression that people from Ohrid drive up to the hotel, which is out of town, in order to use the beach (as there is no real beach in central Ohrid), so during the day, it can be really hard to find a parking spot. If you're not very confident parallel parking or reversing, then park in the lower car park and walk a little. Although it's not in the centre of town, I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It's probably needs a bit of love and attention in places, but it's charming and the staff members were very helpful.

Disappointing....Disappointing...Disappointing. apart from the view.. the hotel O pointed. Never seen that for a 5 star and I have never written a negative review on a hotel in 30 years but now....it's necessary. Arriving in our room... dust and hair everywhere. Terrace never swept. Doors with fingerprints.. and the restaurant.. mediocre... no or no choice and dirty... I had to ask to clean the table.. it came with the spray and an old used tablecloth.. .the bread baskets...crumbs have been there for ages...clogged...the coffee machine...disgusting...there is no other word...lazy staff. I have never seen that ! To the wise...

This is NOT a 5 star hotel like they claim to be. The room did not smell good and it was full of dead bugs in the walls, curtains... The shower did not have any type of curtain or wall to separate it from the toilet and it would all get wet as a consequence. The breakfast was not great as well, the food was not tasty at all and there weren't many options to choose from to be honest. I only stayed there for a night but it wasnt a good experience. I might seem very exaggerated with this review but I don't want more people to be scammed. I would classify this hotel like a pension more than a 5 star hotel. I hope this review is helpful.

Just OK. Not a 5 star hotel, but the view from the room was just breathtaking. Big and comfy bed. But... Rooms very outdated and dirty. Balcony was never cleaned. Each day, random things were restocked in our room- no consistency at all. No daily water in the fridge, only 2 welcome bottles of water on arrival. Breakfast was just fine, repetitive, but you will get this nearly everywhere else. Very tasty cold meat cuts, but very limited choice od vegs and fruits. The hotel's restaurant evening food was not good. We had 2 evening meals there, and they were disappointing. For example, my broccoli soup looked and tasted like water in which broccoli was cooked rather than the soup. My partner liked their fish soup. The hotel's bar and restaurant served alcohol at different prices at different times of the day. Very strange. During our 7 nights stay there were 2 big private parties lasting till 1am. The hotel is placed next to the public lake (pebble) beach, which was very loud, specially over the weekend (live DJ events most of the day and evening). Sunbeds on the beach for two ppl cost 5 euro per day. Plenty of smoking everywhere. I would not come back there.

We stayed at this hotel this July for 7 nights and to be honest we had to move rooms first half hour they put us in the basement which the room was damp the breakfast was shocking not much choice there was no fruit no yoghurts it was very bland the evening meal buffet was terrible the alicante was nice food but minimal choice on offer it was no wher near a 5 star we ate out for the last 4 days in the town which was great

The price-quality ratio is top! You have a great hotel room with a beautiful view over the lake and air conditioning (especially if you ask for a room on the third floor). The location is great: close to Ohrid, but far enough from the hustle and bustle. In addition, the (panoramic) sauna also has a great view of the lake, there is a beautiful swimming pool with bubble baths, an extensive fitness room and there is a beach at the hotel where you can swim in very clear water. These facilities are more than good for the money you pay for them. Finally, the staff is generally very helpful and friendly with one exception. However, there are also some lesser points. The hygiene in the hotel could be better and is not five star like in other countries. In addition, the breakfast was not great. It was fine, but the same every day and not really special. Finally, the beach at the hotel is not a private beach (as mentioned). It is also used by locals. It is not that this is very disturbing, but the image painted with 'private beach' is not correct. Nevertheless, I had a wonderful stay here. You can't expect five stars like in other countries for the money you pay. Moreover, there are many luxurious facilities that, in my opinion, more than make up for the price-quality ratio. Moreover, it should be added that I do not share the opinion of many whose comments I have read. The hotel has been recently restored and is no longer as 'old' as stated.
