Mitsui Garden Hotel Okayama

I stayed at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Okayama twice, and went to Hiroshima to see the Seto Inland Sea in between. The hotel is in a good location. Take the Okayama Airport Bus to the West Exit of Okayama JR Station (Platform 21, the end), take the elevator, walk to the East Exit through the JR Station passage, turn right, and cross the road behind a tall building. The hotel is surrounded by prosperous businesses, including Takashimaya, AEON Shopping Center, Don Quijote, etc., as well as large shopping malls, Yours supermarkets, drug stores, etc. in the JR station, and a large underground street (which is enough for shopping and eating). It is also very convenient to go to scenic spots: Korakuen and Okayama Castle are just at the JR station square entrance. Take the bus or tram opposite; you can buy tickets from the self-service machine in the JR station to Kurashiki (Sanyo Line or Hakubi Line), Kibitsu Shrine and Kibitsuhiko Shrine (Momotaro Line), and Tsuyama (Tsuyama Line, it is recommended to choose the orange-marked express train). The hotel service is very good, but because it has been open for many years, the hardware is unsatisfactory: the cabinet doors are not easy to close, the curtains will fall off a corner, and the toilet has a peculiar smell. Another strange thing is that there is no quilt cover, but a sheet to separate the quilt, which is not very familiar. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel. It happened that the breakfast price increased from 1650 yen to 1980 yen a few days ago. The big mall and supermarket in the station to buy milk, bread, cake or salad, sushi, etc. It feels very satisfying. The airport bus to Okayama Airport also takes place at Platform 21 of the west exit of the JR station. The above is for reference for friends who travel independently.

Now the lobby waiters are very good, but after all, it is old. The 1001 I stayed in was not very clean. The bathroom was fine, but there was dust on the corners of the table. The overall color of the room is depressing. But the price is cheap, so forget it😂This time I asked for daily room cleaning. Overall, it is still good. I didn't order breakfast. I wanted to buy it at the store, but the price has increased since April 1st...

Good location and very convenient hotel

When I visited Okayama for the first time in 2017, I thought it was really nice to have a large public bath. When I visit Okayama again in 2024, Mitsui Garden Okayama will still be my first choice. I am very happy. I also met someone who stayed in the same hotel in Kurashiki. *********, we were very happy to spend the whole day together, and also visited Okayama Castle and Korakuen Garden at night. Unfortunately, we only stayed in Okayama for two days. Fate is a wonderful thing😁😁

駅から近く便利です。男女別の大浴場があり、混雑時間を避ければゆっくり出来ます。アメニティは普通です。

The location is not far from Okayama Station. There is also AEON nearby where you can buy late night snacks and fruits. The hotel lobby is clean and tidy, and the room space is sufficient. It is a great choice!

The hotel is located at the Korakuen Exit of Okayama Station. There is a big supermarket nearby, a Lawson, and an AEON shopping mall, which has coffee supermarkets, restaurants and shopping. You can stay there for a whole day! The hotel is old and the rooms are small, but there is a big bath. Since there are no good hotels in Okayama Station, this one can be stayed here as a transitional stage!
