Hotels Near Satsukido in Okayama

The hotel is close to the Okayama station which is around 5-7 mins walk, and it’s so remarkable with the reception staff being so helpful and friendly. Nice and accessible hotel for family travel😄

The hotel is just less than 5 mins walk from Okayama station. It is also near big malls such as Aeon Mall and Takashimaya, where you’ll be spoilt for choices on food. I like to walk and I was able to get to Okayama castle in less than half an hour. The room is clean and quiet, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Is a pretty hotel next to the JR station. Also next to a big shopping mall Aeon. On Sunday, a gentleman played piano in the lobby, really lovely. Most of the room has nice view and reasonable size from Japan standard. The only negative feeling about the hotel is the restaurants. Before I rush to take the train on Sunday, I wish to go to the buffet restaurant. The waiter at the counter just informed me in a very rude manner the restaurant is fully booked. Same as the manager of the restaurant. This is different from most of the hotel which always try to accommodate their hotel guest. I am Diamond member of Cathay Pacific airline for 20 years. Spending a lot of time in hotel each year. I have to say I feel extremely sorry for what happened. As the front desk staffs of this hotel is excellent. Same as the hotel set up is so good. But the manner of the waiter/ manager of the restaurant did spoil the feeling of the guest tremendously.

Reasonable rates. Straight line distance to Okayama Station. Will definitely stay here again if I am in Okayama.

　I almost missed breakfast on Sunday morning. At the time of check-in, you can see the photo and it is a set menu, so only the explanation is that you can choose from these 5 types on the day. Understand that it is ”set menu only”. Even though it is a business hotel in front of the station, Sunday starts at 7 o'clock 30 minutes later than weekdays. It seems to be entrusted to the tavern on the same floor as the front desk, and even if it is explained, the location is not clear, and it cannot be seen from the front desk. When I left the hotel at 7:30 and headed for the store, there was a person in the chair in front of me. However, there is no tag saying that you are waiting, so when you say breakfast in the store, you will say, ”Please wait in front.” When you try to write the name, there is no such thing. However, it seems that you should sit in the corridor and wait until the order comes. I heard that I took out, but I didn't. I have to leave for work, but this will miss eating breakfast ... When I returned to the front desk and explained the situation to the hotel staff, the hotel did not know the situation at all. I'll go to the breakfast shop together and listen to the situation. Finally, the first people started to leave, and luckily, the previous people were all group guests, so I sat at about 8:45. When I entered, the set was only the main, and a little buffet was added. Moreover, it is understood that only up to 8 people (groups) can enter the store in the form of a private room izakaya. With this, there is a great possibility that I couldn't enter the store even if I waited forever, and I think it is disqualified as breakfast at a business hotel. Don't throw the hotel round, understand what the situation is and improve it.

We used it for event participation at Okayama Convention Center. It is directly connected to Okayama Station and it is very easy to move. It is also convenient to Okayama Convention Center. I think it depends on the location of the room, but the room I stayed this time was able to see the platform of Okayama Station from the room, so I think that is also attractive for those who like trains. There are many restaurants in the station building of Okayama Station and there is no inconvenience in eating. It is a very recommended hotel for those who have a business at the Convention Center since early morning at Okayama Station late at night.

I used it on a business trip. About 3 minutes walk from the west exit of Okayama Station? It is very close. There is no service such as breakfast, and it is a hotel for a simple night stay, but there are convenience stores and Matsuya nearby, so it is not a problem at all. I stayed in a single this time, but the room is large enough for a single, and the toilet and bath are large enough. I am grateful that the room is fully equipped with a microwave. I would like to use it again.

About 5 minutes walk along the track at the west exit of Okayama Station. Closer than I thought. Is it empty or the cheap plan remained just before. (Single 4550 yen) Always Toyoko quality, but is the room spacious? Also, the upper floor of the west-facing room (odd number) is the toilet in ＆ station view. I think the free breakfast is also full. Centurion Hotel & Spa Kurashiki Station Wow, can they do rooms any smaller? I doubt they can! Superior Queen, more like Sub-par roomelet! 😰😰😰 Bathroom is for teenagers up to 16 years, but smaller size! Hot water flow, extremely slow, takes 30-45 minutes to fill bathtub Desk is what you give a 10 year old, bed is for vertically handicapped! Closet, none existing, Minibar fridge, didn’t even know they make such small size? Plus cooling, NOT cold Hotel elevator sign says, only 1 elevator, and NO STAIRCASE! Good luck in emergency Carpark, not available, but not entirely bad, 80 m walk, and covered, little discount by hotel WiFi, a little wonky & not too fast, sad in todays time & age, actually went off line twice within an hour! Really poor Ok, update, I formed Rezeption and they gave a Mobile WiFi router, must give them a 100 points for acknowledging the issue & being proactive! 👍🏻 With so many negatives and some positives, it’s only fair to highlight the amazing & friendly attitude of the Hotel Staff, they are giving their best with the product the have! Kudos to them! Breakfast, not bad, quite fresh, but all melanin and/or plastic except coffee cups!

The room feels quite spacious, but the view outside the window is average. There is a large bath on the 9th floor of the hotel, where you can take a bath to relieve fatigue after a day of walking. There are free popsicles to eat at night after taking a hot spring bath. There is a restaurant opposite the hotel, which tastes good. The hotel is about 800 meters away from Kurashiki Station on foot, about 10 minutes. This hotel is very cost-effective. Turn left when you leave the hotel and the road is opposite the Meikan district, which is very convenient for shopping and eating.
