Montebello Resort Hotel - All Inclusive

Overall it was very good, mainly because of the location, the parking space in front of the hotel and the fact that you didn't have to think about what to eat, you took care of all your meals directly at the hotel. The beach is only a five to ten minute walk away. But the downside is that the room facilities are too old and the air conditioning is not very good, but overall it is not bad. 总体来说还是非常不错的，主要是位置好，门口有停车位，而且不用考虑吃什么，直接在酒店解决了所有用餐。距离沙滩走路只要五到10分钟的路程。但是缺点是房间的设施太老旧了空调也不是很好使，总体来说还不错吧。

As a family we have visited Turkey every year for the last 17 years. This was our first time at this resort and hotel. The cleanliness was poor, the pool area did not have a proper clean in the whole week of our holiday. The rooms are not cleaned to a good standard, bedding and towels changed every 3 days and floor not brushed or mopped properly. Food was cold/luke warm with a very limited choice, even for an all inclusive, not fussy eaters. Waiting staff friendly and worked really hard. The cups in the bar disgusting, not cleaned properly. We bought drinks and cups from the shop. Our room was noisy, close to the main road, and the walls are paper thin. The fridge had to be unplugged due the excessive noise it made. The bathroom had a really bad smell. Room change was unavailable. The entertainment was poor. Expensive to eat outside the hotel, lots of people complaining about this. £37 for 2 small breakfasts with orange juice. Area outside resort was really nice, lots to do, lovely beach and blue lagoon was amazing.

My girlfriend and myself came to stay here for 7 nights and we have been mostly satisfied with our experience. The location is very good with many things to do, the beach is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel and has a range of bars, restaurants and shops along the way. The hotel itself is nice and has beautiful scenery, the rooms are adequate and the beds are comfy, the cleaner comes every day and sheets are changed every 3 days, on our last night they set our bed up all fancy with flowers and a little towel swan 🦢. The entertainment was practically non stop with them being about all day and night. Fred the photographer was an absolute delight the pictures he took were very impressive and overall he’s just a great man. The only slight downside we found was a lack of choice in food options, everyday seemed to be the exact same as before and if you’re not going to get it straight away its cold, however we (not being too fussy) always found something to eat. Gonna miss u fred - charlie :)

My two children and I recently stayed here for 10 nights. Having worked in hospitality myself for a few years my expectations are quite high but realistic. I have visited Turkey many times over the last 25 years & I have noticed many changes in recent visits. The cleanliness isn't what it used to be both in the resort and the hotels, also unfortunately some of the younger generation of Turks are not as attentive and helpful as the Turks were in years gone by, but that seems to be the way the world is these days unfortunately. Pros:- Fred - such a talented photographer, he captured the children and I beautifully. The entertainment team - Bedo he is a credit to the hotel!, the beach party he organises on a Sunday is a must, we had a fabulous time. The Gozleme lady - she works tirelessly and makes the most tasty gozleme Food - the food wasn't the best but there was a lot of variety (people complaining need to open their minds and try new dishes!), we particually enjoyed the salads, pide, soups, and some of the desserts. (More vegetarian options would have been great). Cons:- The pool bar area / drinks. As mentioned in other reviews the pool bar smells terrible!, it's a stale milk / vomit smell - it seriously needs a deep clean with a lot of bleach! Water machine - AVOID, its sat in the sun all day and the staff are filling some of the water bottles with tap water!! (I've seen this mentioned in other reviews and when I asked the bar staff if it was tap water they said yes!) this resulted in 3 days of sickness and diarrhea for the children and I!!, I spoke to other guests that were also suffering / ill while we were there. I raised the issue with the Jet 2 rep and the hotel manager, we were given bottled water and polite understanding but little else!. Cleanliness of rooms- the housekeeping ladies are lovely but there cleaning standards are not thorough enough. Cramped pool area - too many sunbeds pushed close together and very slippy! Overall we enjoyed our stay, I'm very open minded and can let the little issues go, no hotel is perfect but improvements are needed at Montebello in relation to hygiene standards and attention to detail / attentiveness of staff.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed, I don't make many reviews but felt this one was necessary, the food was absolutely awful and the drinks were worse, we ate in the hotel after spending a day at the pool and I was ill for the remainder of the holiday and I've since learned through other facebook groups I wasn't the only one ill who was staying at the hotel. We recieved 1 keycard for the room on arrival so my girlfriend went up a little early and I was told if I want a spare key it was a 20 pound charge, it's also 30 pound to use the safe for the week. I'm struggling to find any positives but I suppose the entertainment was lively of a night but who wants to sit watching an evenings entertainment when the drinks are absolutely disgusting. Each to there own but my advice would be give this one a miss

stayed with wife and granddaughter here for 1 week. WIFI well this could fly sometimes but most of the time it was very slow or could not even get on it sometimes and not good for night time when trying to get amazon kids to work for games and video. Staff was great but the waiters were young and did try to take plates of food too early. staff was great and sorted our probs or questions out fast at reception. Room was smallish but was very clean. Food was just ok not great at all and some days we did have a prob finding something we liked, defo for granddaughter just maybe they could do a kids corner for them with pizza, nuggets, burgers . or just plain chicken breast and then have a selection of sauces people can add but did have a selection of about 6 dishes a day but not always hot. Note the chips was cold every day. Pool bar had a really bad bad smell near the bin but bar people was great. Now the kids pool was great but one female adult thought they could put a float in it and sunbathe and then complain to kids if they got splashed and tell them to stop. i think staff should keep a eye on them and kick the adults out if they have no kids after all its a kids pool for them to have fun with mam or dad or family member. granddaughter made loads of new pals everyday. noise in passage way was bad for us as we was near the stairs and lift at night. Its only a 10 min walk to main ***** or beach but you need to take care crossing the roads as drivers do not stop when you get to a crossing or will even drive past you when on it. I like to say thank you to all the staff as everyone of them was great.

Come at your own risk! Arrived yesterday, first night the fire alarm went off for nearly 30 mins, no idea what was going on! Loud and noises hotel! No WiFi, no hot food either. Hot food is available BUT all COLD! Room service is every 3 days lol ! My room is really dirty full of dust! Breakfast was awful no decent options available, no fresh tea or coffee, use a machine it’s DIY. This afternoon our door key stopped working, after 5 attempts back and forth to reception, had to wait for the technician for over an hour to let us back in our room. We were asked to stay with the technician, the whole ordeal took most of the afternoon waiting for the lock to me fixed. 1 key per room regardless or many people sharing. Extra key is £20!! Oh and to use the safe it’s addiction £30. No towels provide near the pool at ALL! Can’t wait to return home!

Cannot speak highly enough of this place. Having read some of the negative reviews I was a bit sceptical but the 9 of us who stayed here had a fantastic time. The pool is brilliant and there was always plenty of sun loungers available. Food was great and the rooms were immaculate. The location of the hotel is ideal. Close to the main ***** and beach and only 5 mins from Hisaronu in a taxi. I've seen some reviews complaining about the lack of a life guard by the water slides. I've raised my kids so they can be trusted unsupervised so we had no problem at all letting them play on the slides when they were open. We will definitely be going back next year.
