Omachi Hotels with Swimming Pools

Great place and the standards you'd expect of Holiday Inn, but you really need to drive to make it more convenient. There's only one bus to and fro which costs 1,230 Yen from Shinano-Omachi station. There is also nothing in the near area nor any Uber services. Still, the restaurant is pretty decent and there's a pool + Onsen with a simple vending machine as well as a shop selling apparels or food items. Christmas vibes were all-in when we went around mid November. Overall, a great hotel and if the location doesn't bother you because you drive, you'll likely have a good time.

If you drive yourself, it is highly recommended. If you take public transportation, it is a little inconvenient. Because the hotel does not have a shuttle bus now. The surrounding walking distance is relatively desolate, and there is no hot spring street to visit. You can't ski in the summer, it is purely a quiet vacation. Breakfast and dinner are OK. The activities are eating buns in the afternoon and drinking sake in the evening. It will be a bit awkward if you don't speak Japanese.

If you plan to travel the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, this hotel is your best choice. The bus stop to Ogizawa and Shinano-Omachi station are right in front of the hotel. They also provide luggage forwarding service to Toyama station for those who do the one-way trip on the tateyama kurobe alpine route, which allow you to travel super early as you don't have to wait until the luggage forwarding service (at shinano omachi station) open at 7.50am. The room is clean. The price is reasonable+ come with complimentary breakfast. 10/10 would recommend.

Although the building is old, the service was very good and it was a very pleasant stay. The food was also very satisfying, and the breakfast and dinner buffets were plentiful. I was amazed that the food was replenished even 10 minutes before breakfast finished! The bath was also spacious and very comfortable! The view from the room was also beautiful!

I hope the hotel can improve and be flexible! ! Moreover, Trip.com has deducted the fee from my credit card, but I have to pay again after arriving at the store. Of course trip.com said it would refund the fee, but now I have deducted a double fee, which is very unreasonable.

The hotel is located 8-10 minutes' walk from Omachi Onsengo Station. I stayed in a log cabin room this time. The room size and comfort are good, but one window cannot be locked, and the other two windows have no curtains, and the lights from passing vehicles shine in at night. Room, so the quality of sleep is not good, the space for men's and women's baths is not large, and the women's bath has a strong smell of kitchen smoke during dinner time.

Nice place for one night stay before going the alpen route, close to the nearest convenient store from the station(i.e. the closest one is 10min away from station XD) the staff is very nice, has warm water in toilet and washing area. The room has a kettle of hot water, tower, tooth brush set, and anything you need for a night, surprised that the kettle is still keeping the water hot drinking water after a whole night and I don't need to get the water again in the morning. sorry that the photo was taken in late night and may look a bit dark, it's better than it looks

Not far from Shinano Omachi Station, the transportation is convenient. Hotels run by ********* are relatively convenient for communication, but the understanding of the landlady is a bit out of sync with ours... Clean, I chose a room with a bathroom, but it was different from other rooms in Japan Compared with business hotels, there is no advantage in price and service. The worst thing is that there are no curtains and it's already dark after 4 o'clock in the morning. I couldn't sleep, so I caught the early bus and set off with my luggage. The luggage storage area doesn't open until nearly 8 o'clock

Very very helpful staff. We had injury when we arrived here and stayed for 3 nights and the staff was very cooperative and helpful during this time of distress.
