Structure renovated, in my opinion, with style and optimized the space to the maximum. Modern and functional common areas. The room we stayed in had two separate rooms that were well organized and furnished in a modern style. The air conditioning system is excellent, functional and silent. The bathroom is small, the shape of the structure probably didn't allow more to be done, but this seems to have benefited the two separate rooms present in the room. Small garage in the basement. Good breakfast selection, both savory and sweet. The location, a few steps from the walls of Orbetello, makes this structure ideal for a stay in the lagoon, in my opinion. Price appropriate to the proposal.

Sono stata con mia figlia di 17 anni al gitavillage Argentario, in tenda ⛺️, nella parte dedicata al campeggio Speravo innanzitutto di trovare un bel mare pulito, ma purtroppo la spiaggia di fronte al campeggio è decisamente non curata, il mare è torbido e non si vede dove si mettono i piedi. Il fondale viscido non invita al bagno. Sarà a causa del fiume che sfocia li accanto. Mi dispiace davvero poiché abbiamo fatto 600 km per trovare un mare davvero brutto, cosa per me importantissima. Il campeggio è ombreggiato e silenzioso Le piazzole non sono facilmente raggiungibili con l'auto, cosa un po' scomoda per chi deve montare una tenda. I servizi igienici vecchi, funzionavano metà sciacquoni. La pineta fitta è rinfrescante. Grande inconveniente sono le tortore che fanno kg e kg di bisogni dall'alto e colpiscono ogni cosa, anche mentre si è a tavola. Fortunatamente mia figlia ha fatto amicizia e si è divertita comunque. Non ci ritorneremo assolutamente e non capisco come alcuni affittino i villini pagando una quota che permette di andare ai tropici.

We made a last minute booking and probably got the last available room which was a small practically windowless room, but we had the good sense to ask, “if you get a cancellation please let us know as we’d be happy to pay more for a better room”. Not 5 minutes later the phone rang with an upgrade offer - we took it and we’re so grateful to get a room with a view next to Liz & Richard’s love nest. But the bottom line is here, no matter what room you get the grounds are Magnificent! The infinity pool, the bar in the turret, the sensory zone, the beach only 800 meters below - the staff, the everything.

Cercherò di essere breve ma ci tengo a riportare esempi concreti di quella che è stata la nostra esperienza. Internet (wifi compreso) prende solo all’ingresso del campeggio e in spiaggia, ma questo di per sé non rappresenta un problema perché in vacanza tutto sommato si va per staccare la spina. Il problema è che il telefono non prende neanche per le chiamate da nessuna parte, e per noi che viaggiavamo con un neonato di 3 mesi ha significato non potersi dividere un attimo, perché non era possibile telefonarsi qualora ci fosse stato un problema. Market sfornitissimo e prezzi esagerati: il primo giorno l’uva (marcia) a 6€/kg, il giorno dopo lo stesso grappolo 7 €/kg. Ristorante imbarazzante: l’antipasto “panzanella con code di gambero” erano dei tocchi di pane intrisi di aceto, solo di aceto, con pomodorini sconditi, tre rondelle di cipolla intere e gamberi surgelati lessati e buttati sopra ancora caldi, con il budello. Senza olio, senza un minimo di decenza, viene da chiedersi se chi l’ha preparato si sia messo un attimo nei panni di chi quel piatto lo dovrà mangiare. Il resto della cena è stato anche peggio. Fortunatamente il cameriere, gentilissimo, ha cercato di rimediare in qualche modo, ma l’imbarazzo degli stessi dipendenti è evidente… è chiaro che non possano farci più di tanto perché non dipende da loro. Unico piatto ottimo la pizza: peccato che l’abbiamo mangiata solo la prima sera, perché dal 3 settembre il pizzaiolo non c’era più, contratto scaduto… da lì pizza sostituita da pinsa romana surgelata. Il fatto che siamo a settembre, quindi fine stagione, si nota eccome: pizza finita, la spiaggia è stata pulita ogni mattina fino al 3 settembre poi stop… peccato che noi abbiamo pagato come qualsiasi altro ospite e quindi penso ci sarebbero spettati gli stessi servizi. Sistemazioni confortevoli, nonostante il forte odore di umido. Spiaggia comoda, ma gli ombrelloni vengono chiusi e i lettini sbaraccati alle 18.30, per noi che viaggiamo con un neonato era praticamente l’unico momento per godersela. Personale in generale molto gentile, salvo qualche eccezione, forse unica vera nota positiva della vacanza.
