Evermore Orlando Resort

I don't like to write reviews, but I feel compelled to warn any potential Evermore customers to go elsewhere. I recently corresponded with Evermore’s Director of Golf, Darin Hoff, regarding a men's golf trip for a large group (14+). We were planning to spend upwards of $20k in one weekend at the resort. After I booked the reservation, I received an email from the golf shop containing internal correspondence where Mr. Hoff instructed Evermore's employees to "waste [our] cash” and charge us a higher rate for our golf rounds because he felt we wasted his time by asking for a few different quotes for our group. I'm a member at two different golf clubs. I can't fathom one of our directors of golf blatantly telling employees to fraudulently convert a customer's money. That type of theft should have no place in the game of golf, much less a new resort utilizing the name and design of Jack Nicklaus. Evermore's lack of a response is equally concerning. The best response we received was a courtesy apology from a reservations specialist, even after we requested to speak with management. I guess Evermore is fine with their Director of Golf, a senior member of their staff, discriminating against customers based on his own personal opinions. Avoid the scam and take your business elsewhere. If a senior member of Evermore's leadership team is bragging, in writing, about intentionally wasting customers' money, imagine what else goes on behind closed doors at Evermore. Run, don't walk, from any dealings with this place.

Unique, like being in Caribbean in the middle of Orlando… you can see Disney fireworks across the lake but not hear anything. Kayaking, paddle boarding, sand castle making, cocoon hammocks that my children call “Poppy’s house” bc they look like a Trolls house.. very fun. Actually we decided not to go to the Disney or universal bc the kids have so much fun and parents can actually relax.

This is a 5 star resort... customer service, staff and overall quality is exceptional. this resort is very clean and up to date, restaurant prices and bar are not over priced selection of food was great and can even walk over to the Conrad Hotel for dinner or drinks... this resort was like being on a Caribbean Island...can't wait to go back.

Overall mixed feelings about Evermore Orlando but I’d go back again in a heart beat. We went with 4 couples and originally booked a Villa and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a 7BR home with a private pool. My review is definitely more positive for this part of the experience. The accommodations were excellent and the new builds (with some still under construction around us) were amazing. We had some issues getting in to the house where the key pad wasn’t working and the only way to access the house was to crawl thru the window. Took security a few tries and several hours to correct the issue. Eventually we found a work around the pool door alarm but I won’t post it here for safety reasons. The house was very clean although we did find some dirty clothes left behind from a previous stay. The house was well equipped for cooking except there’s not enough dish soap or dish pods so make sure you bring your own if staying more than a day. My biggest issue with evermore was the bay. While this is a gorgeous and relaxing experience, and I’m glad they extended the swimming area recently, the recreation staff and operations needs a bit more time to know what to do. In order to do slides, jumps, rope swing or SUP/Kayak you need to sign a waiver. The waiver system never emailed us proof, so I signed it there live on my phone and no one ever checked it. We were given hand stamps (NOT waterproof) and half of the staff either didn’t check or didn’t care. The other half wouldn’t let you on the experiences if the stamp was half faded and made you walk back to the staffed area to get stamped only to come off again after a single slide or jump. Our party ended up stopping the activities because it was so bad. We opted to relax in the water instead. We weren’t sure what you could bring with you to the bay since the rules have changed a few times in the past few months but I can confirm a few things at the swimming areas in the bay. YES you can bring your own personal floats. YES they have a few stylish starfish shaped floats but maybe 15-20 total. YES you can bring your own coolers as there was no one policing it. On our day at the beach we only saw 1 or 2 servers and we didn’t feel like waiting for drinks so we can’t speak towards the service. There’s a handful of umbrellas so get there early. Lastly, there was always a line for the kayaks the entire Saturday we were there but likely the wait wasn’t more than 15ish minutes. Overall, we plan on going back at some point as this is a great vacation spot, hoping that the recreation staff will do better the next time and a few things change.

Evermore is now Never Again. My wife and used to visit the property when it was The Villas of Grand Cypress. For those of you reading this that had a positive experience at Grand Cypress don't expect the same. Instead of listing all our negative experiences let me just say this is no five star resort. Make sure you have your credit card and cell phone at all times as you must pay for everything when you order and they notify you by text message when your food is ready. Also no room service, I don't ever recall staying at a five star without room service. The list goes on but I think I have given enough information to get a standard form response from management.

Disappointed. The swim zones are sooo limited, it’s 90+ degrees and you have to walk half way around the pool to enter. No access to swim from cabanas. Too many restrictions, seems like more of a resort for older adults, not child/family friendly. I saw kids fall off the paddle boards, the employees were so rude, making them get out of the pool. Staff yelling at kids for playing music on their phones. The flats are nice, grounds for the houses still under construction, landscaping not finished. We were really excited for this trip, the excessive restrictions to swim and enjoy the pool were disappointing. There are too many beautiful resorts in Orlando that are family friendly to have this many restrictions.

Don’t even hesitate, just book it. This place is a must. Flat is beautiful, great accommodations. You won’t regret it

Although we were guests during the “soft opening” of Evermore, and expected there to be some hiccups during this stage, it was fabulous on all accounts! The flat we stayed in was perfect for our family; warm and inviting decor, with lots of room for everyone. The 8-acre lagoon was gorgeous and enticing, although the cooler weather didn’t really allow us to go too far in. Twin View restaurant offered a very nice menu for all ages and the service there was very good. Had a chance to tour one of the houses that are offered as accommodation alternative for larger groups. Each has its own private pool. Would definitely consider that option during our next visit. You gotta have Evermore as one of your “go-to” options if Orlando is your destination!!!
