Spark by Hilton Orlando near SeaWorld

The property is safe, clean and mostly quiet except for emergency vehicles going by several times during the night. There were many noises in the room/walls. There were no cups in the room. There was no coffee at the Continental breakfast. Overall not a bad experience but it could be improved upon.

Generally ok except the breakfast is too simple without any hot food and no coffee or tea.

Upon check in we were told no amenities would be provided including breakfast. The only reason we booked with this hotel was for the breakfast. They claimed they emailed about it, I did not receive a single email stating this. In fact when I got the email that the hotel was changing I called to make sure everything work my reservation was still good and was assured it would all be the same. It was not. Not only was there no food provided but there were no microwaves to heat up purchase food. And we had to keep everything in the fridge due to ants, I spent a small fortune on some food and it was covered in ants after a nights sleep. The construction they were doing was loud and banging could be heard all night, when I called to ask if the desk for help on this matter, on a weeknight at 10:30pm!! He said “yea I can hear it too but I don’t know where it’s coming from”. Most morning we were greeted by the toxic smell of paint fumes. The elevator was is complete disarray. And with the exception of 2, the front desk staff were extremely rude. The only nice thing I can say is that the beds were comfortable

I liked how close it was to the OCCC. However, the entire place is being remodeled. It seems they finished the 4th and 3rd floors. But everything else was being painted and renovated. This made the continental breakfast unavailable, no business center. Just the lobby and your room. On the plus side everything was brand new in the rooms--bed, bathrooms so very clean. So, if you got things planned to do outside the hotel it is a great place. I would return

Very clean room. Front desk staff friendly except for the mid-night staff. He never came out to greet us. Was on an inappropriate personal call that we could hear very well. If . If you are physically handicapped, the bathtub is hard to get in and out of.

The hotel has been recently renovated. The rooms are large. Very clean rooms, the Spanish speaking ladies do a great job. Tea and coffee 24 hours a day. The breakfast is very simple, with just some bagels with cheese cream (filadelfia), butter and jam. So don't get too excited when you see that breakfast is included.

So I show up to check in at 11pm and out of nowhere (no advance notice) they tell me that they’re renovating and need to send me to a cheaper hotel down the street. I have to provide my own Uber transportation to this alternate hotel which is not within walking distance of the convention center, and find the new hotel to be smelly, noisy and very unclean. The carpets and sofa were stained, I could hear traffic from outside and arguments next door, and the water in my room would not heat. I checked out the following day because it was intolerable but best western would not refund me for the second night I had booked. I normally can put up with a lot, but this was just unacceptable behavior. Ended up switching to the Rosen inn down the street which was not only cheaper, but cleaner, very walkable and staff were very accommodating. If you are considering the is best western I would highly recommend this other hotel instead
