The hotel is just outside Universal Studios. There is a shuttle bus to Universal every morning. The last flight is at 11:20. There is a shuttle bus from Universal City back to the hotel in the afternoon, the earliest one is at 5:25. If you want to go to Volcano Bay, you have to change to a shuttle bus when you get to Universal. The middle road is very long. It is recommended to call an Uber directly from the hotel to go to Volcano Bay. The hotel's breakfast is relatively simple, with the same sausages, eggs, bacon, etc. every day. Good points :
- very well located: about fifteen minutes walk from parks and outlets and places to eat all around
- punctual shuttle to the parks
- spacious room and comfortable beds
- blackout curtains
Negative points :
- charge a deposit of $250 without warning instead of just taking a credit card imprint
- two debits attempted on my account "by mistake" of $247 and $447, rejected by my bank which suspected fraud (fortunately!), result blocked account because of their "error": no apology or commercial gesture, just a “I don’t understand, it’s a mistake”, unacceptable
- not the service of a 4 star: in the bathroom no cotton swabs, makeup remover, razor, etc... nothing. The conditioner dispenser is empty when we arrive so not checked after each check-out
- no welcome bottle of water or even the famous cookies praised
In the end very disappointed by this lack of consideration in the face of their error with very serious consequences and by the level of service, more like a 3 star.
