Crowne Plaza Hotel Orlando Downtown, an IHG Hotel

The room was nice . We enjoyed our stay and check in was very smooth

The pool was dirty, it has mold, something black like mucus, there were lizards everywhere and we couldn’t use it. They told us the breakfast was continental and they charged full banquet price. The room was ok but the shower sprays the water everywhere, The windows were dirty.

Staff were completely unprofessional, I had a reservation for two nights with two different bookings, during check in I explained and Tina who was at reception desk ensured me that all was good , to my surprise on second day the room key was deactivated, and then at 11:00 pm a security guy knocked at my door and asked n a very impolite manner he asked me to go to reception to add my credit card on file. Nevertheless I went to reception, Tina , same receptionist who had checked me in , was at counter, checking some files and she ignored me staying right in front of her , then she passed by me without a word, there was another guy at reception and he was also impolitely asking for my credit card, all of this is a mess because my room was fully paid when I booked the room, I am a gold member and they had my credit card info from last night reservation, when I asked the guy why they knocked on my door at 11:00 pm, he impolitely said because they did not have my card info on file, was really rude and unprofessional, even no opology for the mess they did. Hotel was under construction, very noisy and not clean, inside the room there was no hand soap and no shampoo, the shower floor was full of water and drainage system was not working , Overall as a frequent traveller with gold rating, it was the worst hotel I have stayed, will recommend my colleagues also not to book this cheap hotel anymore

Good location

Nice enough hotel but they were doing remodeling so there were some issues. The hallways were dusty and I had a problem with the hot water in the bathroom.

Didn’t have hot water for multiple days and my AC unit started screeching at 3 o’clock in the morning so I had to change rooms.

This hotel is absolutely top notch. We just had our wedding at a venue in Orlando. We had all of our family, friends and ourselves stay at this hotel. It’s so beautiful inside and the staff is very welcoming. The rooms are gorgeous and you are in the perfect area, close to everything. We had our rehearsal dinner here and words cannot describe how amazing it went. The room we had it in was so perfect and beautiful. From the delicious food, exceptional customer service, great wait staff and bartender, plus so much more! Since the day we booked with them for hotel room blocks and booking rehearsal dinner, communication has been absolutely perfect. Yvette and Kari are the sweetest and help you throughout the whole entire process. Thank you for making our wedding weekend so special, we definitely will be back!
