Universal's Hard Rock Hotel®

Very nice hotel, breakfast is nice, free parking, free VIP pass

When in Orlando we always make a few trips to hard rock No different this year You know what to expect and the service is always outstanding Was a little disappointed in the grilled chicken was a little tough on the nachos although nachos were great, massive portion too much for 1 One night my burger came and was cold, think it had been sitting on pass whilst other bits being prepared but it was taken away and a fresh one made with no fuss Love the new elvis room and Beatles room and all the other memorabilia 3 trips this 2 weeks and no doubt be back again next time

I decided to stay at Hard Rock Hotel for the 1st 10 days of my USA tour of America. 2 adults 2children aged 8 and 11. I can not recommend this hotel enough. It's the closes Hotel to Universal studios/ city walk. You can walk there and to city walk within 5 mins. Or you can catch the boat over to the park which takes 10mins. All staff from arriving at hotel to catching the boat across to the park were helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The hotel rooms are lovely and clean. The bed are very comfortable. The pool areas are so clean and they have a water slide next to the main pool. The pool even has a little sand area for the children, if you had younger children that wanted to play. The pool is quite of a day, no reserved sunbeds. During late afternoon the pool gets busy, but not too busy you can't find a sunbed. The hotel has a lovely spa and gym, if you're feeling like a few hours chill. The restaurant is big and the food was lovely. I think the food is better in the hotel than the Hard Rock Cafe in City Walk. It has a launderette based on the 2nd floor. This was perfect for me as I was travelling for 3 weeks. I would recommend staying on the 2nd floor if you wish to do washing with the children . There was a machine there where you could purchase washing powder etc for your wash and also dryers. 1 load of washing with drying was around $6. We didn't hire a car and I am glad we didn't. We walked to universal studios everyday. a few days we went to Disney. We used Uber and Lift to get around around $20 each way to Disney. The other reason I stayed here was because you get Fast Track passes each day for the studios. I couldn't have coped not having these passes. Especially for the Harry Potter rides. The pool is open till 11pm of night so great when you just need to chill after a long day of walking around. Onsite there is a Cafe / Shop take away pizzas chips sandwiches and drinks etc. Tani was a manager in the cafe and I cannot thank her enough for food she prepared for my children. A little expensive but you can also get a Uber eats delivery from a supermarket or restaurant or even Macdonald's delivered to the hotel. I would never stay in a Villa this Hotel had everything. Thank you again Hard Rock Orlando for an amazing 10 night stay.

The grounds and pool are gorgeous and the loaction is very convenient for Universal.

Dated rooms & bathrooms. Staff was friendly however service at the pool restaurant was slow. Under staffed. We ordered a bottle of Prisoner wine at the Velvet bar after our cocktails. Took 10 minutes. We were also charged an extra drink on our tab which we noticed. It was taken of bill. As Tampa residents, my wife and kids enjoy high end hotel stays once a month regardless of cost. This was not a great experience we would expect This did not justify the cost
