具有意大利風情的一個酒店，很美，但是房間設施很一般很簡略。如果是為了unlimited express很值，住一晚的話早上就可以pre check in然後去玩，第二天也是可以玩到閉園。酒店裡很多餐廳也很方便。

Food was great, but very little options if you can't do dairy. I wish I was alerted that there was going to be a cheerleading competition at the hotel and the studio because they got very annoying at the pool and at universal. Nobody warned us the park was closing at 6 due to grad bash, and they did nothing for us after purchasing tickets full price for literally 3 hours of enjoyment. The person on phone told me I could check in and get my hotel room as early as I want which ended up being a lie and costing us a lot of time we could have saved. We checked in our bags than got the wrong bags which costed us more time later again and frustration. I think for how much you're paying these should be considered if you're booking a hotel with them, but hopefully they can improve upon it. Otherwise great stay and thank god for the included express pass otherwise we would haven't gotten on many rides in. Staff was very nice and helpful except for some of the baggage people.

The hotel is under construction. We made the reservations in October and called the hotel directly to ask if the construction affected the water area and they said that it was minimal and did not affect the hotel view. We stayed there before and we brought some friends with us because we loved the view. Well the construction is massive and half of the hotel view is covered with tarps and scaffoldings. We were very disappointed that the water view was totally affected and the hotel was deceiving to say it wasn’t. The food is good at the restaurants and the boat ride to Universal is very convenient.

This is our 2nd time at the Portofino, our third or fourth time staying at Universal. I was once again so impressed with the resort. Our room was comfortable, with a table and 2 chairs, a small couch (which I believe may also have been a bed), a mini fridge that kept our drinks deliciously cold, a shower with plentiful hot water and great a/c. Our hours varied as some of our family went to the park early, some later, and somehow when we returned, our room was was always refreshed and waiting for us. There was never more than a 10 minute wait for a water taxi, the pools never seemed crowded, the water was always cool and pleasant, plus there are 3 to choose from. Of course having the express pass included in the price of your room is a wonderful perk, but I feel what really sets Universal apart, not only at the Portofino but also at the parks etc is their staff. They are unfailingly friendly and pro-actively helpful. When we had pizza and put our pizza boxes in the hall so that we wouldn't have to smell pizza all night, I opened the door an hour later and the boxes were gone. I just feel like they don't miss a trick. Then my daughter left her plushie in the room when we checked out. I called a few days later and they were so kind, they didn't make me feel like I was bothering them, the people I spoke with had the same caring and cheerful tone as when we were onsite. And they shipped it back to us quickly and free of charge!

Recently stayed. Mattress completely covered in urine/urine stains. The response from the front desk was to send up a cotton mattress cover, think “fitted sheet”. Wouldn’t have even encapsulated it. It was unfit to be slept on. Room 2560, club level villa. Emailed the assistant front desk Arron after he received my survey and have yet to receive a response. Check your mattress at the beginning of your trip and I hope they handle it better for the next family. Added photos of the stains not sure if they will show. Will be cross posting this review

Do not visit this hotel while under construction. The noise was terrible, the rooms are not up to par and they are not running enough boats to the park. The experience was maddening. In addition, the valet and the front desk clearly were not communicating causing large delays. The hotel is more than $400 a night and there are better options for that much money.

This is not a hotel, it’s a building site. They should not be taking paying guests to stay here. Everywhere is covered in tarpaulin, including the windows of our ‘suite’. Long queues for the boats and the noise….incessant banging of workmen… dreadful. Stay away.
