I don't know why this hotel is only rated 2 stars on Google. It is clean, close to downtown, and has a basic, very minimal breakfast available. Nothing fancy, but it works, and more importantly its CLEAN. The hotel is currently under construction, so no sleeping during the day due to the workers. Try to ask for one of the rooms at the end of the hall at the front of the hotel. They are newly remodeled and probably the bigger and best looking rooms. I can't speak for the older rooms, because I stayed in one of the remodeled ones. They need more luggage carts in the lobby. I was told they only have 2, but I only saw one. They also need the maids to return the luggage carts found on the floors, back to the lobby, so that customers don't have to go searching for them. The front desk ladies during check-in was very friendly, but the guy working during check-out was zoned out. Not rude, just not engaged. If I had to find one issue to complain about, it would be that the remodeled room seemed rushed, because there are scuffs on the new tile floor that need to be cleaned with paint thinner, goo gone, or scraped off. There was also left over caulking that wasnt cleaned off on the stand for the microwave were something was bolted down before, but removed. Workers didn't go the extra mile to clean up behind their remodel work.
