Hyatt Place Across from Universal Orlando Resort

Universal Studios Area
This hotel has a serious credit card authorization and arbitrary deduction. In addition to the payment room deposit at check-in, it will also randomly deduct more than 700 dollars and about 100 yuan from time to time. Finally, contact Trip.com to inform me that I am pre-authorized by their hotel. Booking the hotel for the first time. In this case, I really don't understand this kind of god operation. After leaving the store, it is the next day, but the hotel has not unfreeze the operation pre-authorization deduction. The fee is refunded. It is very unreasonable.

The front desk staff is courteous. Breakfast can be free as long as you register as a Hyatt member. It is a bit of a hassle to pick up the airport pick-up shuttle bus to take the initiative to call the hotel.

The room is large and the bed is large. A family of three is very suitable. The hotel has a shuttle bus to Disneyland, which is quite convenient. However, it is not recommended to buy tickets for the hotel at the hotel.
Hyatt Place Orlando/ I Drive / Convention Center

We evacuated here from Tampa for Hurricane Ian. The staff could not have been more accommodating and friendly. They updated a board in the lobby with regular updates on the storms path and important information as well as text messages with important information as the storm approached. They made a horrible experience bearable. There was a hot breakfast every morning and a limited menu for lunch and dinner. Food was good. Rooms were clean and hotel was kept clean, even with the damage they sustained from the storm. We didn't hear the howling winds through the windows and never lost power even when the storm headed right towards us. I want to personally thank all of the staff for making this stay a little less stressful. Beds were super comfortable. We had medical reasons we needed to evacuate, even when the storm shifted, and felt safe and welcomed for our short stay.
