B&B Villa Angelino

We had an amazing week here - faultless from start to finish. We stayed in the B&B paying for full access to the hotel facilities and half board. Rooms were spotless and super comfortable. The hotel spa and pool area just lovely and everyone looked forward to a swim in the outdoor pool after skiing. Super convenient for the slopes and added bonus of shuttle bus if you didn’t want to walk. Call them at the end of the day to pick you up from the lifts too. The food was delicious and varied every night - catering for all different dietary needs within our group. Icing on the cake were the exceptionally friendly staff who could not do enough to make the stay as wonderful as possible. The bar area was lovely and social and a fabulous place to retire to for cake and a drink after skiing. We all loved it.

No better hostel than this in Ortisei First of all, the location is perfect. When you get off the bus 350, the hotel is right in front of you and it is right in front of the bus stop, but it is not noisy at night. Rooms are clean, bathroom is clean and spacious The most important thing is that it's a breakfast food shop and the staff are very friendly! It's not better for public transportation. The cable car to Alpedi Siussi and Secheda is located between the two cable cars within a 5-minute walk, and anyway, I had a good rest! There's a shared microwave and a refrigerator. Good Good

Bar server if you can call him that. Paolo. Total chip on his shoulder ruined our Christmas Day after a lovely dinner at Snetonstube. We thought we would have a lovely after dinner drink for Christmas. So many many lovely spots in Ortisei like Gardena Grodnerhof and Sotriffer and wine bar and costa mula! Don’t go there and spend your money Paolo obviously hates America and Americans. Sad. Paolo is rude and sad And god forbid you show up in the bar from Another hotel he will make it known you are NOT welcome. He chastised us for sitting down and for serving us free Prosecco even though we said we would pay for it. It was a managers reception and we did not know that walking in. Unwelcoming and don’t go into this hotel if you are not a hotel guests. The bar was empty and he literally told us “YOU ARE NOT HOTEL guests here. My New York City travel agent will love this feedback. Paolo is doing this hotel a complete disgrace disservice.

The hotel reviews can be regarded as a quality/price ratio. I booked for need (last availability) from Booking and, no doubt, the price was not exhaustive. We returned after about 8 years, the review of then was of 4 stars. If I could have to remove half a star (or perhaps one), but I want to be good. Other reviews also stressed that the hotel would need modernisation, a ”clean”, which I believe is necessary. The restaurant is to be reviewed, efficient and gentle men, nothing to be excepted on cleaning. The receptionist, unjustly criticized by others, works hard and the evening moves to the restaurant to ”complete” the day. But I think they are preferable to falsely kind ways that tend to turn you a disgusting tramway, there is a useful navigation service for the base of the cabins, then the beauty of the places makes the rest. In other words, although the review is positive, I think that greater attention to details and ”finishings” may not be missing.

This hotel is an oasis. I got an amazing massage and used all the steam rooms and saunas and boy was it relaxing. Everything is stunningly picturesque and serene. We even used the outdoor pool in mid October and I have never been in a pool so heated and comfortable. The staff was friendly, accomodating and the most helpful. I would return many times over and recommend this place to anyone. It IS as nice as it looks in the pictures.

I was in the restaurant and remembering the good food I came back this time and I had a very good food that for three nights with my family we could only have dinner in this room. Location characterized by the foot of the mountains, with a large square where some campers are parked. Great food : Canedo, gulasch, Milan cotlet, strudel...comunque every really good size and, in my view, the kitchen can be considered one of the best of all Ortisei. Equitable price: a restaurant to recommend and I hope to return to us on my next trip. Compliments to the cook and staff all ! S.D. from Perugia
