New Osaka Hotel Shinsaibashi Reviews

The hotel is located at a very convenient location and while it’s nothing super fancy, all the basic amenities were available and I thought it was quite worth it considering the price. I also want to give a special shout out to the female receptionist at the front desk for being so helpful to me! TLDR: My luggage got damaged while it was being delivered to the hotel, and she went beyond the mile to help me contact the delivery company and follow up on my case for me at my request. Only managed to receive the compensation money in time before checking out thanks to her help, so a big kudos to her! ♥️ Service is definitely on point.

The room I stayed in was rather small and felt cramped. The window locking mechanism broke as I used it. The bathroom door was narrow and squeaked every time I opened and closed it. I caught my sleeve on the door handle every time. The plastic sill leading into the bathroom creaked every time I stepped on it. The bathroom smelt like damp or mould. I suspect this is due to the lack of silicone sealant around the bath tub. The desk had an advert for beer propped up - this annoyed me as I felt this was too blatant in trying to get me to spend more. The bed was fine. The staff were fine. While I rested well, there were some aspects of my stay that I found irksome.

Room was bigger than the usual small hotel rooms but here they use key for door access. Overall was a good stay and was comfortable.

Overall a pleasant stay, strategic location but the hotel room is too old. No complain with the price I paid for.

To my surprise, I booked a nonsmoking room, but, when I entered the room, I felt a smoky atomosphere. First, I fret over the situation. I guessed I got a mistake in reservation and at last the winsome staff were ready to change from somking to nonsmoking room. I am really grateful to this hotel. Thank you very much.

Ideal location of shopping lover, short distance access many location, cheap and good, friendly staffs, clean environment, strongly recommend for budget traveller.

The location of the hotel is not very convenient. It is a bit far away from the center of Shinsaibashi. The hygiene is good in all aspects. The price of a three-star hotel room is 300 Hong Kong dollars. I have nothing to say.
