This hostel is located close to Osaka Umeda station, but there is a bit of walking distance (about 15 minutes). The receptionist/owner is very kind and friendly, check-in time is after 3pm but they have a storage room for luggage. The great thing is there's an amazing common area with kitchen, laundry, free tea & coffee, even a Japanese-style tatami room!

It's equipped with everything travelers need, including a cooking space, tableware, small condiments, and coffee. The shared space and beds are spacious, so you can relax. It's easy to get to Umeda, and it's quiet at night, so I recommend it.

Although the location is not first-class, the facilities are complete, the environment is clean, and the beds are the largest among the youth hostels I have been to. On the day of check-out, there is a free luggage storage service until the afternoon. The lobby has Japanese tatami mats, coffee machines and nostalgic toys.
