The resort was ok. However I will never book with trip.com again. I booked for the weekend of 3/18, checkout 3/20. I became very ill and requested my trip be moved to the next weekend, the 25th. They charged me $85, sent me a confirmation email and a check in voucher. I arrived at the resort and was informed I had no reservation. I sat with my family in the car until 10pm when they finally let me pay the 2 days resort fee and the $100 deposit. We got our room and went to bed. The next morning I was told it was fixed , no problem. That afternoon the resort told me I had to pay for my reservation as the payment from trip.com had not been received. I did not have the funds to pay again as I'm on Social Security Disabilty and this was a present for my grandson's 11th birthday. After many calls to trip.com and the front desk they decided to refund my money and I paid the resort when I got home. A totally ruined weekend for my family and I.

We stayed here while vacationing to Universal Studios. I don't normally leave many reviews but I had to mention this hotel's customer service which was excellent. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and the sweet lady working in the breakfast area, Ana, was such a warm charismatic individual. She checked the room card with a smile and a kind word, asked us several times if there was anything else we needed and was just altogether pleasant. When I mentioned to my family how nice she was, my sister-n-law, who has been to this hotel 4 times this year, made the comment that every time she has been here Ana was working and she always is incredibly nice to everyone. This hotel is super clean, comfortable, and the facilities are modern. We will definitely be back.

My daughter and I needed a bit of decompressing after helping a friend move. We decided Kissimmee was just what we needed. This hotel is a Good Neighbor hotel of Walt Disney World. We have stayed in a lot of Comfort Suites and this now is our favorite. It has a deluxe hot breakfast, including Mickey waffles. The pool is open 24 hours and the proximity to Old Town is a plus. I would 100% stay here again.

First of all, let me say we were blessed to have shelter and food during Hurricane Ian. There was a mandatory evacuation for us living on the water in Pinellas county. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Special thanks to Oneeph at the front desk. He went above and beyond to help us find the hotel ( we had been driving for 5 hours and got lost in Kissimmee). He helped us with our luggage and was a very friendly face in a stressful time. Very helpful and professional The hotel is older and could use a bit of renovation. Several things did not work in our room and I had to spend a lot of time with staff to get everything working. During the storm, our room, the elevators, and the first floor all had water coming in. We were on the 5th floor. Windows and doors should be upgraded. They gave us another room and it was fine. Difficut times difficult situation but we all got thru it. Thank you.

First, we paid for a room with a pool view, but when we arrived, we were given a room without a pool view. It took some time (approximately 2 hours) and some convincing, but the manager was able to relocate us to a room with a pool view. When we arrived in the new room, we were pleased with the location and space; however, the furnishings appeared old and not well-maintained; most wooden furniture contained many scratches, the dresser drawers in the bedroom were off the rails and not easily opened, seating on the couch in the living room was impossible, as one almost sank to the floor when attempting to sit on the couch. The overall style and look of the furnishings were just old. It's so sad for a hotel with a great location and upscale reputation.

The hotel park is super large. I took the hotel's internal shuttle bus to another park for dinner. It took 20 minutes to get there. It is full of scenery, and there is a large swimming pool spa, sunbathing, large hotel room, kitchen, free laundry and drying. Dry, the room bed is big and comfortable, just no breakfast, but the convenience store is nearby

GGuest UserCK in desk was best I have ever experienced and I have been traveling all my life, now age 66. I chose to always eat fabulous roast beef sandwiches from the Deli on basement floor! The hotel is all about service. People were there from all over the world. I have a service dog and they were VERY accommodating, unlike last TRIP Hotel i stay at that illegally charged me $200, so I simply left at 10 p.m. for their telling me this after I moved in. It is illegal to forced payment of a Service Dog. Thank you OMNI for knowing this!

GGuest UserSolid place to stay. Very quiet and off the beaten path with a wealth of amenities. The staff were kind. However, check in takes too long and I wasn’t informed of the $150 deposit. I was told it may take up to 30 days to return. The rooms are a bit dated but they’re nice. My light didn’t work but there were several lamps. There’s a dollar tree and family dollar across the street but not much else within walking distance. Good if you have a car or maybe with friends as the amenities are robust.

GGuest UserI was on a solo trip for three nights while in Orlando. This is an older hotel but the inside is kept very clean. The room could use an update but everything was clean and worked great (only complaint would be my room needed a larger television). I saw about 4 different staff members at the front desk during my stay and they always took time to say good morning or hello. I used the pool during one day of my stay. The pool area has plenty of seating and the pool itself is nice. The hotel uses recodeable card keys as room keys and these will let you back into the building after hours. The bushes need to be cut back on the road where you turn into the hotel, it's hard to see down the road to see what's coming before you turn in. I think this is either a public road or belongs to a larger hotel down the street so not sure if this is anything Destiny Palms can control. If I'm ever back in Orlando and need a budget hotel, this would definitely be my go to.

JJanet CallI took my 9-year-old grandson to Disney World and randomly picked a hotel that accommodated our needs and schedule. The price was reasonable, so I booked for 3 nights. We got there a day early, so I took a chance and went to the front desk. Asking (Joe) if they had accommodations for our extra night. He said absolutely! He was so nice and helpful and made sure all our needs were met, made sure we got fed and made sure we felt safe. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The next day we met Howard at the front desk. He was just as nice and accommodating for the next 3 nights. He took special care with me and my grandson. The complementary breakfasts could not have been any better. And I mean a full course breakfast with a lot of choices. Every evening after arriving back at our room, the room was had been beautifully cleaned. I was extremely happy with our entire stay. I will stay at this Quality Inn again for sure. I HIGHLY recommend this HOTEL to ANY and EVERYONE. Thank You Joe and Howard for our nice stay and you guys taking such good care of us. Looking forward to our next trip!

GGuest UserI booked a room for 1 night because I never stayed here before, so I don't book more than 1 night when I don't know what they property is like. I knew there was some kind of corruption going on with this place because they have a huge sign that promotes the rates start at $29.95, I know there are no rates this low at this location because I have checked online and with the tool free number, the do not include the resort fee, which is more than the price that they are advertising. This is a scam to start with but I wanted to check it out anyway. I arrived to check in and there was the usual sign on the door that they want people to wear a diaper on their face. I do not wear these things because I am disabled, I have stayed in dozens of hotels in the area and nobody (except the Motel 6) had a problem. In fact asking people to use a medical device in order to use their services is not legal in the USA, a person who asks someone to use a medical device must be qualified to do this (e.g. M.D. etc.) and they must do an individual assessment, and finally even if these are done the medical device can be rejected and they still must provide everyone with equal service. I also have a disability and can not use these things. When I walked in the office immediately the clerk said I needed to wear a diaper on my face, I told her to just your job and check me in, then she immediately told me that she is going to cancel my reservation and that she was calling the police to trespass me, I know the police would not come because this happened to me before but I decided to avoid this hotel and leave because at this point a business that doesn't follow the laws of the country and denies my rights is not a place where I will give my hard earned money to. Avoid this hotel at all cost they are corrupt, they have fraudulent advertising practices and they deny people their rights.

GGuest UserAVOID THIS PLACE! Unsafe, disgusting conditions, and we were scammed for more money. We booked via hopper to arrive and be told that they didn’t have our reservation, but they’d honor the hopper price and I’d have to request a refund via hopper for the additional charge. With it being after 1AM by the time we got this far, we accepted that we just needed a place to stay and we’d figure it out. So we paid AGAIN for the room we’d already booked. Then Initiated the Hopper refund request, went to our room and were horrified by the conditions. There was literal filth on the walls, the smoke detector open with no battery, no lights in the bedroom lamp, yellow pillows, no flat sheet on the bed, a dirty rag on the shower curtain, a terrible smell… I could go on. Given the time of day, how deplorable the room was, and what we had encountered at arrival, we decided the safest and best option for us was to leave this property. We returned in the morning and requested our money back. The manager very graciously and apologetically refunded our money that they had charged us. We were honestly very pleased this interaction, but now they’ve told Hopper that we’ve already been refunded the double charge and are not responding to the further refund request after I’ve explained to hopper that the hotels refund was for the stay itself given the terrible conditions, not for the double charge. Case still pending but I don’t understand why they won’t acknowledge Hopper and accept my refund request for a booking they swore they never even received the money for in the first place. Total scam. Nasty property. Avoid at all costs! Hopper should not be doing business with this property

AAnonymous UserThe location of this hotel, um, it is still convenient to eat, but you have to have transportation to travel. Well, my room door lock was broken, so it still feels not safe to sleep, because he is an open hotel, but the location from Disney and other places is very good, the service awareness of the service staff is also very good, so overall it is OK.
