Karl Johan Hotel

Beautiful hotel wonderfully located in the center of Oslo. Very good breakfast! The gym and facilities are excellent too.

The room and service are very good, worth booking again

Facilities: There is a hot water kettle. Bonus points. Although it is small, it has all the essentials. Environment: quite clean Service: The guy at the front desk is very handsome and nice. He even helped me get the card if I left something in the room. I must praise the free salmon breakfast. It is the richest and most delicious thing I have eaten in many days.

Let me share the real check-in situation for the reference of Chinese friends: 1. The hotel is very conveniently located, just on Karl Johan Street, next to the NIO New Energy Car Store. It's also close to the palace. 2. There is only a small front desk on the first floor of the hotel. Most of the people staying there are white people, and there are very few Chinese people. I didn’t see a single Chinese person during the two days I stayed. 3. The room floors are very strange. For example, if you live on the 5th floor, there are many rooms that you have to go to the upper half floor or the lower half floor. There is a long staircase and no elevator. This is very strange and very inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage. 4. The breakfast is very good and rich. The restaurant has a glass dome, many plants, and a good a**osphere. 5. Calling a taxi from the hotel is much more expensive than hailing a taxi yourself, and the taxi company they cooperate with, the driver can be described as ** and **, the one I met... I was also very surprised, why is there such a situation in the core area in broad daylight? It's a terrible thing, so if you take a taxi, use the app or choose public transportation instead of calling a taxi from this hotel. 6. The room is very complete and has a kettle and coffee machine, but there are hairs on the sheets.

It's pretty good. The location is very good. It's very close to the Central Station. Shopping and dining are very convenient. It's within walking distance to the Pier Opera House, Art Gallery and Museum. The front desk is also very friendly.
