The atmosphere was great too. It offers excellent value for money and is the cleanest and best hostel I've ever stayed in."

"Location: Not the location of the city center, it is very convenient to find according to the navigation. It is very suitable for the transit hotel. There is a large parking lot next to it. Free. This is very satisfying. Room facilities: small area, small bed, but it seems that the Nordic bed is not big, the sofa in the house is very soft, breakfast is charged separately because the next day the flight is early, so there is no time to enjoy."

"The hotel’s location is superb, right by the Oslo S train station and by the main shopping district and main sights. Hotel itself seems rather old. The bathroom especially felt like something out of the 1980s. It was small and water pressure was weak. Also there was no bath mat provided, nor any tissue paper, and no amenities like toothpaste toothbrush or shower cap. As we had paid for a larger room, our room was spacious. But it was noisy from people shouting in the street below even at late hours. Also the hotel did not turn on its central heating nor air conditioning. So the room felt stuffy and you would have to open a window. What saves the hotel is the excellent service. Staff were accommodating on requests we made, including for a takeaway breakfast box on our last day as we were taking an early train."

"This hotel is amazing and right in the city center. You don't need to take public transport for anything. There's a 24-hour front desk and very spacious common areas, and the room is very clean and lovely. We had an issue with some noisy guests, and when we called reception, they came up instantly. Highly recommended!"

"The location is relatively remote and not very downtown, but the air around it is very good. There is a subway just a short walk out of the city, so it's OK. The only thing is that the room is a bit dark, but you can open the window for fresh air and it feels pretty good."

"The tram stop is right downstairs, which is very convenient. In fact, most of the main attractions in the city center are within walking distance. The breakfast was very hearty, and we had a wonderful two days in Oslo."

"The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and engaging. Breakfast was also very good, quite generous for European standards. You might want to try the liquid fish oil, but be warned, it's a bit fishy – I decided not to buy it after tasting. The hotel is super close to the train station, just a short walk away. I also appreciated the secure elevator system; you need to swipe your card on the ground floor before you can select your floor. They even upgraded my room to one with a sea view! I'm extremely satisfied."

"The kitchen facilities in the room were a bit tricky to use, but the clean lady who tidied our room was very helpful. The room isn't huge, but it has everything you need, including a balcony. The bathroom is a tad on the small side. My only minor concern was the area outside the hotel, which seemed to have a lot of immigrants, making me feel a tiny bit uneasy about safety."
