Scandic Solli

I'm so happy while staying at this hotel. All of the staffs I met are really friendly. I came earlier than check-in time, but they got me in before than check-in time. The breakfast buffet was also nice. A lot of options to choose, the buffet bar closes at 9:30. So don't miss the chance to enjoy your good breakfast:) The room was clean but only issue with the room was that water didn't drain well in the bathroom. But you can ask the front to chance the room or fix it, so it won't be a problem.

For our city trip to Oslo with my husband and kids we found a perfect, and economically priced stay at Oslo Scandic Solli. The location is fantastic as it is just 100 m walking from Aker Brugge and the palace. Also just 50 meters located from buses and trams. The room was big enough for our family. Every day the room was cleaned. The breakfast was incredibly diverse: English breakfast, Norwegian breakfast, glute allergies, all food was available. The only little thing was that during a busy day there would be lines for the breakfast. So then it’s better to have breakfast early. We will definitely come back!

Good for overnighting. Went to oslo for 17 mai feiring. Good location to witness the parade. Has a good breakfast

Great hotel very central rooms are lovely and comfortable and the best nights sleep as the beds are extremely comfortable. Staff are superb and the breakfasts are outstanding. We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The only negative I could say is the rooms were quite warm but the weather was exceptionally hot. Absolutely would come back again and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Overall, the hotel was a good place to stay for our long weekend in Oslo. Conveniently located near to a major tram/bus stop that gave us access with minimal changes to the majority of the city. The hotel staff were excellent and all very friendly and the buffet breakfast was exceptionally well-stocked at the weekend but less so on weekdays. The quality was good overall, but I did get the feeling that some of the produce had been put out repeatedly for a few days by the end of our stay. In the room, things were less impressive. Upon our arrival, I was informed that we'd been upgraded from the '1 Queen size bed' room that I'd booked. What we received was a twin bed room with the beds pushed together. There were twin duvets and due to slippery floors, the beds would inconveniently slip apart during the night. There was not enough storage in the room. There was no tea/coffee in the room which was a shock to someone who relies on an early morning coffee to get the day going. However, it's not listed in the hotel website that it's included so worth double checking. The only tea/coffee available outside of breakfast is from a machine (paid for) in the lobby. Other small points, the towels were tiny and thin - I'm a big chap and struggled to be honest. The escape routes map was missing from the back of the door. The shower screen was poorly fitted so that water collected on the floor and there was no plug for the sink. In summary, I won't be returning to this hotel.

Great service, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and ideally located for exploring Oslo.
